Because poor people can't give diabetes, cancer or allergies just by breathing the same air as rich people.

Anyone else get these kind of flares? by hailhummous in gout

[–]_Stone_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I very rarely get it in my toes anymore, it moved to my heel, ankle and and sometimes knee. The big toe flare ups were rough but at least I could get around the house by walking on my heel. My last flare up I was crawling to the bathroom for a few days.

A closer look at the capsule I posted earlier, sorry for the quality, my camera is acting up. by JephriB in pics

No it's a joke. He posted a shot earlier and this one is close up and grainy like something that radioactive would do to a camera. It's actually pretty funny.

My first flare I had to turn my fan off because the air hurt so much.

Colchicine is my best friend. As soon as I feel any discomfort (you will eventually know what the beginning of an attack feels like way before any pain) I take 2 right away than 1 more an hour later. That will usually stave off an attack if I take it early enough. Sometimes Colchicine give me diarrhea but I'd rather be pissing out my ass for an hour than having a full blown attack any day.

I have no idea where the misses put the attachments or the base but I could probably find them if I looked for 5 minutes. We got the thing right after black Friday and I still haven't hung it up yet. It found a home balanced between a cabinet and a shelf. She hasn't said anything yet so i guess it'll live there till she gives me shit and I'll be like "Well I was gonna put it up but I had no idea where the parts were!"

Ours hung right next to fridge, it was call a "Catty 9-tail", I think. I only got hit with it once or twice and it left welts on my back and ass. It just disappeared one day and years later my sister and I both thought the other had something to do with it.

We got ours on a black friday deal. I think $100 off. I thought it was still too expensive but the misses really wanted it and she doesn't buy her self things often. It's the best cordless vacuum I ever used. It's even better than most corded stick vacuums I ever used.

So I was pretty hesitant when the misses was about to ordered it, she already bought a $100 knock off that didn't do shit. I like my shop vac and my battery Makita vacuum that came in an old tool kit. Both way more powerful than her old vacuum. I used the dyson the other day and damn I was really impressed. Only thing I don't like is the built in batter which will definitely be a problem in a year or so.

Ouch. These comments are making me nostalgic and sad. One site I really miss was DigitalHive. They weer a scene tracker but I spent most on my time in the forums.

My Facial Dermatitis Is Gone From Eating Garlic by Mike-Lebow in SebDerm

[–]_Stone_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you taking the garlic pills or just going raw cloves? Would love to know the pills work just as good. Raw garlic loves to come out of my skin but i'll deal with it if only raw cloves work.

Worse we did was called green horse. Usually on the walk home from school, when somebody was walking next to a bush or hedge row, you would run and slam them into the bushes. It was extra points if the bush was a pointy holly or some kind of thorny plant.

Only 44 here and I probably have forgotten more than you remember. A birthday came up on my feed today and it was an old roommate of mine that passed a few years ago. I completely forgot this dude even existed.

I can swallow most pills without any water at all. But the coating on the generic alleve I currently have somehow burns my throat so I definitely try to drink with that.

I think I'm due for a re-watch binge! It's been years. Last Sunday I was flipping through regular TV channels for football games and saw a marathon or something of SG-1 on. So much nostalgia came rushing back!! What a great show and I even enjoyed the spin-offs!

Ever gotten it in your elbow? by [deleted] in gout

[–]_Stone_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kinda miss getting it in my toe. Now I mainly get it in my ankle and heel. My whole foot swells up to where I can't even fit it in a slipper. I spent a few day around new years crawling up the steps to the bathroom. When I got it in my toe I could at least walk through the pain.

Yes! It never worked. I thought I would be getting a nice free bloody Mary drink, instead just some crazy daemon chick with bloody eyes. Do not recommend!
