Sounds good, I'll try to look out for them. Thank you!

how do u deal with ppl who look down on your course? genq and also a bit of a rant by Lvcky_chii in studentsph

Additional lang na this is my first time learning that people actually look down on courses like BSCS and BSIT, most of the time I hear people (ex: pag sinasabi ng nanay ko na I.T ako) na "Wow, maganda yan, malaki sweldo niyan!" or "Wow, mangingibang bansa yan!".

To answer your question din about "ano madalas sagot niyo sa ganyan?", the best thing you could probably do is to ignore them or just don't talk to them at all. I despise people who look down on courses na hindi popular or hindi engineering/doctor. You don't need people who will bring you down while you're studying on the program, you need people who will support you and help you all the way to the top! The more na papansinin mo sila, the more na madidiscourage ka lang which is definitely not a good thing. Especially in programs that we have, I'd advice na lumapit ka/be friends sa mga taong matutulungan ka sa course mo, you definitely need them.

Keep it up, OP! Prove them wrong, and continue being the best!

Bruh.. I'm a female I.T student and this shocked me a lot lmao. I have no idea with how BSCS program works but holy hell computing courses can be difficult and it's not just bara bara computer type dito type doon lang lol. Courses related to computing requires problem-solving skills and logic which can be hard for others to obtain and ofc need na knowledgeable ka sa computer.

"madali lang naman daw makapasok sa IT industry kahit wala kang degree."

While this is true, it doesnt mean na yung mga walang degree eh basta basta na lang pumasok sa IT industry na walang pinag-aralan??? They spent years on self-learning para lang makapasok sa industry and I gotta say, self-learning things like programming can be crazy difficult especially for beginners.

"puro pa raw lalaki ang BSCS"

Who cares? Porke maraming lalaki, hindi na pwede babae?

OP, remember na walang madaling program. Like.. nothing, unless kung super gamay mo na yung program na kukunin mo ever since bata ka pa lang.

I like to think na these people who say na madali lang ang BSCS or BSIT ay mga taong di pa nakakatry ng programming hahaha they probably think na puro excel excel lang yan pero no, it's not ez at all.

Don't mind them, please keep on pursuing what you want, don't mind them at all kasi sino ba sila? Sila ba nagpapaaaral o nagpapakain sayo? Sila ba makikinabang ng diploma mo after graduation? No, definitely not. It's gonna be you, OP. So please don't listen to them, trust yourself, and keep on improving yourself! Good luck!!

Also, your issue with the battery sucks. That would be an issue for me when I'm away from home. But I hope a powerbank would somehow help me get through it? I have a proper one and planning to get a better one so, I'm hoping it wouldn't be a hassle.

The F4s are kinda out of my budget unfortunately. I also read like it's not a very huge difference compared to F3, there were upgrades, but it's still kinda the same? But probably better? So yeah.. I had to choose F3 as an option instead.

Unfortunately, my Mi 10T is dead already, literally. It just stopped booting up and I have went to the service centers and repair shops and they weren't able to do anything about it. As much as I want to stay on Mi 10T (like idk buying it again), I gotta find a new phone to use.

Good for you! How's the connectivity in F3? I use mobile data and bluetooth earbuds, do they work good with the phone? Any problems with those, as well as its wifi connectivity?

I had a minor issue with my Mi 10T where it randomly disconnects to Wi-fi so I had to restart it.

Oh that sucks for me since I use two sim cards. But I don't think that will be a very huge problem for me. Thanks for the answers!

That's neat! But I can't seem to find any trusted seller nowadays that sells the phone, especially those with 256gb variant (tho I still don't mind getting the 128).

That's what I was thinking, they're not totally that different from each other (except probably for the camera part or some other things..) but then again, I don't think nothing in my budget can really replace my old phone lol. Thanks for the opinion.

That's good to hear! I want to know if the connectivity (?) strength in Samsung phones are good in general? I use mobile data a lot and I have bluetooth earbuds. I want to know if they're reliable when it comes to that?

  1. Sa experience ko sa I.T Department, as long as nag cocomply ka sa mga activities ,tapos maayos and complete naman yung output mo (like naka-align sa requirements ganon), atsaka kung lagi ka namang present sa mga klase (hindi pala-absent kasi importante din sa kanila yon), I think they'll give you good grades naman. Pero I'm not sure how it goes sa mga prof ng ibang programs. Ang pinakamababa kong grade so far in 3 years ko in I.T is a 1.75 from a Math subject which for me was quite difficult talaga hahahaha. Pero as long as you study, comply, and attend classes, I think naman di ka mag woworry sa grades mo. You can try talking to professors naman if you think na may mali sa scoring nila, pero don't expect na magrereply agad sila hehe.
  2. About the registrar, I've heard stories na mabagal mag process ng requirements sa school, pero I can't really say a lot about it kasi I haven't really experienced that except sa part na sobrang tagal ibigay nung diploma namin noong SHS hahaha.

Basically, kailangan mo lang talaga maging masipag if you want good grades. Just like any schools, if maayos naman performance mo sa tasks tapos di naman laging bagsak scores mo sa quizzes and exams, then you have a higher chance of getting high/good grades. Good luck!

Hello! Right now, based sa tuition ko. I have 9 installments to settle before matapos yung isang semester. So bale let's say na 46k ang tuition ko, I'll have 9 installments that costs 4.8k each.

What I always do is to pay 2 installments monthly, since if you divide the 9 installments to 2, you'll have 5 payments which is sakto sa length ng isang semester (4-5 months).

Pero, it depends on you on how you'll pay your installments naman, wala namang required way to do it, I just shared how I do it hehe. You can pay kahit ilang installments as long as makumpleto mo before the semester ends para di ka mahirapan sa next enrollment.

Right now, hindi pa strict ang TIP sa payments unlike before. In my experience right now, they allow students to pay whenever they want which means na di porke may exam or something, babayad ka na agad, or like walang deadline kung kelan mo dapat babayaran yung bawat parts ng installment mo. Pero AFAIK, ngayong online class lang yun, kapag f2f kasi they'll usually require you to pay before exams para makakuha ka ng permit for exams.

For the payment, I think you can use online banks, and you can also use yung 7-11 machines. I use the 7-11 kasi ako nagbabayad ng tuition ko. Regarding the online banks, please contact the school about that kasi I have no idea how to use them.

Sa 7-11 you can pay through Dragonschools after mo kumuha ng payment instructions sa ARIS (student portal ng TIP).

Like the usual installment lang.

I think that's all? Let me know if may confusing part. Also I suggest na contact TIP for a better explanation hahahaha I'm just commenting based on my experience, so there's a chance na iba yung maeexperience mo.

Whoever you are, I hope your realize how disgustingly offensive and weird you are. THEY ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS. You need to know that there's a thin line between harmless teasing and actually annoying and hurting the members. Why don't you realize that kpop idols, especially women, can be very sensitive when it comes to weight topics? Have you seen how she hates and how she said she's sensitive when it comes to topics like that? And if Jinsoul said something/joked related to that, it doesn't mean that you have an actual right to say it too. She has her right to say something about herself, but it doesn't mean you'll act like a parasocial weirdo who thinks you have a right to tease her like that. Again, you are not her friend! And you do not know how she personally feels, because YOU ARE NOT HER FRIEND, YOU ARE JUST A FAN.

You and other people who do this to Jinsoul are so annoying. Please know your place as a FAN, and know your limits.

regarding mi 10T sounds/audio by [deleted] in Xiaomi

[–]sixthday6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did check with the video you used and for me, there's just a very minimal difference between the two (this is based on the video you've linked). But yes, the bottom speaker does have a little bit of difference compared to the top speaker.

This is probably because it has a different speaker compared to the top one? This is from Xiaomi's Mi 10T Specification Page

"1012 super-linear speaker on top and 1216 super-linear speaker on the bottom"

So I guess there will be a slight difference.

Good luck!
