Hmm, I lost power in the middle of gameplay and when I got it back I got this message. I had zero problems running it on this machine up till now.

I have restarted and no luck. I have in-installed and hoping that will fix it. I do have another PC (which is actually my more powerful PC and the one I prefer to play on) but I can’t check it right now. Hoping it’s okay on there.

You can tweak all combat settings as well so there seems to be no diff between a normal and custom. The creative option is separate from those two.

Hey, so I just logged in to check as my curiosity got the best of me and I started a new normal mode save and went it the difficulty settings and sure enough you can turn off purchases. It’s says that the “free” setting also bypasses many costs required for mission progress on top of making all unit & nanite purchases free. Hmm! 🧐

I read that in the difficulty settings you can turn on in game purchase (yes I know there are no real money being used) that will basically void the whole in-game economy.

Perhaps this cannot be done when starting a normal playthru idk but I’m fairly certain when doing a custom playthru where u can tweak difficultly settings this is also one of the options. It turns of all units and nanite purchases I’m told.

I was confused and not quite sure what was actually getting repaired in the cargo slots. This makes sense now.

I’ve admired NMS from afar for years and finally decided to jump in. 20 hours so far and loving it.

The 1st time I spawned an anomaly and I realized what it was, a player hub was a jaw drop moment. Really cool how they did that. I’m going into the game completely blind to the lore/story or anything about the game really.

Great game though, I’ve always admired it from afar and finally decided to jump in. I bounced between a few games after finishing shadow of the erdtree and NMS is the only one that stuck. Having a great time w it.
