For anyone curious, this is Neuvillette's new max rotation speed after the "fix". 25600 DPI, Max In-Game Sens.

This is only true for minor adjustments. When you need to make big turns, like trying to hit enemies that moved 90 or 180 degrees away from your beam, you really feel the changes massively. It's to the point where you may as well start a new beam if an enemy is behind you, which feels awful compared to his old gameplay, when you consider how slow his wind-down animation is.

Why state the obvious? The problem people have with this change is that we already had 2 whole banners where Neuv players sank un-reclaimable resources into him, and Hoyo never mentioned anything about this mechanic being a bug set for patching.

It's not like Genshin is a game where balance changes are normalised, too. Typically, characters are only rebalanced via new content.

To me, the worst part of this change is that the spin-to-win tech was something only a minority of the population did. Most people played Neuvilette the way he was intended. And yet, this balance change affects these average players too.

Sort of, but it faded a lot after Arena's release. Personally, I just craved a good RGM, and it doesn't really matter which one it is. Arena has a lot more replayability than the others, though.

I don't really care about the other stuff, but why is Cultivation Char Group in both E and D tier? It definitely deserves a higher tier than either to me. What did you not like about the novel?

If you spend all your free time reading, it doesn't take that long. This is especially true if you drop the bad novels in the hundreds/early thousands instead of choosing to drag yourself through the entire novel.

“The Regressor and the Blind Saint” the worst novel I’ve ever read in my 5 years of reading

Honestly, now that you mention it... You're not wrong. I wonder why it's so common in Korean novels? Is that just the culture over there?

Is there champs that are similar to azir’s playstyle

Desmous
commented

It depends on which part of Azir's playstyle you specifically like. Area control? Strong DPS? Kiting? Self-peeling? Playmaking?

The closest champion to Azir is likely a fellow control mage, but none of them are as versatile as he is. So there's not really an objective similar champion. It just depends on what you personally like.

Do you think arena is fit to be competitive game mode?

Desmous
commented

Personally, I disagree with most people here and think that Arena has potential to be a competitive game mode. Not sure about esports, but for normal Ranked play, Arena has been far more fun to me than SR. Just having more agency no matter what I play feels really important to me. I would like it if they went back to 8 man games, though.

I mean, this is just fake news. Diona's shield was only stronger than Zhongli's when she was up against cryo damage. Where you could argue Diona was better than Zhongli is in terms of utility, where she had him beat easily at C6. However, if you were just looking for pure shielding, pre-buff Zhongli was still the best in the game for that, just not uncontested like he is now.

I'm on the Singapore server. Expect like 5-10 minute queues when queues are slow. Queue times definitely gotten worse in recent times. Maybe after they added quickplay to the server? Could also be Arena. If you're particularly lucky with your queue, <5min queues are definitely possible.

Riot Games cancels Pool Party, unannounced Smash Bros. style fighting game

Also, to be frank, the online CCG community is fairly niche in the first place. It's mainly propped up by massive whales, who spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on card packs, forcibly pushing up the profit. LoR not having much to spend money on is probably a big reason why it failed, in my opinion.

It's not just 15 sentences. The author lifted a bunch of text from many different works. There was a compilation somewhere, but I'm not sure where it is.

Someone needs to make a reddit thread on the main sub on the state of Azir, and maybe Riot will try a little harder in keeping the champion out of pro-jail.

Thebausffs after demoting to D2 playing Sion

Desmous
replied to Zoesan

Have you actually... Played a game of Sion before in the past year? Or played against one? Both his ult and his passive deal negligible damage to structures at this point. In fact, if you're still using them to hit structures, I would honestly be inclined to report you as a troll.

How is Sion passive even dumb in the slightest? It's utterly useless outside of being a waveclearing tool, which wouldn't even be useful if Sion was as good as clearing waves as you claim him to be. Seriously, the only reason people use Sion passive to clear waves is because you can neuter his waveclear with any sort of cc/damage. Also, he has absolutely zero mobility to escape once he clears a wave, so he's forced to die for it.

Are we really going to call Sion passive one of the dumbest skills in the game, when game-breaking skills like Yuumi W or Zeri Ult that fundamentally remove core weaknesses of their classes still exist?

If your goal is really to improve as efficiently as possible, watching Alois is a pretty garbage way to do it. In fact, I wouldn't watch any "guides" that are just SoloQ games in disguise.

If you wish to improve at the game, there are three main ways. If you're still stuck in low elo, the best way is to watch actual guide videos by channels like Skill Capped, that isolate concepts one by one and explain them thoroughly. Ignore any videos that aren't like this.

The second way is for players that already know their fundamentals well, and are looking for other ways to improve. Here, you want to watch UNEDITED gameplay of high elo games, in the specific matchup you need help with. DomnisumReplays is the goat of this, but it can be problematic how they only upload complete stomps. Therefore, finding a nice high elo streamer that plays the champion you want to improve in is important.

Lastly, if you're truly stuck in a rut, and find yourself stagnating even with the above two methods, find a reputable coach to help you. The important thing here is that you NEVER want to get coaching that is just disguised backseating. Only take coaches that are willing to go through replays with you, and point out your mistakes from a different perspective. You're an important factor in this too. Specifically collect games where you're confused as to how you lost, and ask to get them reviewed.

These three steps will get you far more improvement than passively watching edited gameplay of some high elo player that occasionally spouts unelaborated advice. Sure, you'll get the "feeling" like you're being productive, but in reality, it'll be great if you even applied what you learnt in even 1% of your games.
