Salaried bereavement leave for pets

My wife had parental issues and ended up with her grandparents being her unofficial guardians for many years. When her grandad died, she got zero days paid.

Should wolves be reintroduced to the UK?

One of our challenges with rewilding is all the non-native species that destroy the growth, notably many of the species of deer here.

Why do so many people seem to hate GraphQL?

I'm going to be another one of those "I like GQL, but...". It's very clear that a lot of our team don't understand GQL, both those designing the schema and those consuming it (who are often the same people). So many entities are defined at the root query, causing waterfall network, with very REST-like field names, and the UI is constantly sharing the queries so we're over fetching.

If we actually did GQL "right", it would be wonderful, particularly with the UI benefits, but at this point I do wonder if we'd be better with several REST APIs, as the business has no interest in investing time into training developers.

What is the biggest lie/myth about Formula 1 which grinds your gears when you hear it?

That Grosjean blamed Ericsson for his crash under the safety car in Baku 2018. It was his engineer that said it.

I think that's the same race where DTS portrayed him pushing a cameraman out the way in frustration, but he was just stopping him walking into equipment.
