Meri’s Baby “Decision” Meri’s Baby “Decision”

I felt so annoyed with Meri during the MANY episodes watching her struggle with the decision to try for another child. I believe she wanted more children when she was younger, but I don’t believe she was still in that place when the show started. I think her indecision was due to knowing her value to Kody was in how many children she could provide and knowing he’d invest more in her with a tender aged one around, while also knowing she was beyond the age of wanting to care for a baby. Kody finally pegs her down on making a decision a little after they are in the new homes in Vegas. Does she actually make a decision? No. She tells him she wants to know what he thinks. Once he says he doesn’t want to do it, only then does she say “let’s look into what it would take and get more information.” Like, are you kidding me?! And her conversation with Robyn asking Meri if she is ok with the decision… “well, Kody decided and you can’t do that with just one person on board.” A misquote, but that was the general sentiment. I think the whole baby thing was her only in with Kody and her only story line for the show, and she just couldn’t let it go on her own. It had to be taken from her so she could be a martyr. Anyone else totally annoyed by her actions around this? Does anyone disagree and think she was really torn and still wanted more children?
