Do I need multiple RGB programs running all the time for different components?
It'll take care of everything that plugs in by an RGB cable as long as it's run through a motherboard or controller it supports.
Everything else is on a item by item basis, but the list of supported devices is really long.
I'd double-check before you buy something just to be sure.
I use OpenRGB for everything in my case and sometimes my keyboard, but I also use the mouse software since mine isn't supported and the keyboard software as well so I can save profiles to it for when I switch my KVM to my work system.
OpenRGB is a fucking godsend.
