I think it only applies to external storage. Just stops USB storage from being powered on during sleep mode.

Today was the first day this year I was able to spread my butter without assistance. So I guess the solution is to move to the South?
Same here. Workspaces make switching between projects a breeze.
For reference, multiple characters to level 60+ is still a decent chunk of hours so there's plenty for people to get stuck into. Season 4 starting in May will supposedly fix some of the current issues.
Some key things for new players:

Come the new season, any characters currently on a seasonal realm will transfer to the eternal realm (still playable).

Season 4 has big changes to gear, any existing gear will be marked as 'legacy' rather than being updated (I think).

Renown is account wide and transfers to new characters. Things like altars of Lilith and other 'collectibles' that appear at the top of the map screen. Collecting these will give permanent bonuses including additional skill points so it's worth prioritising these ahead of season 4.
Take the opportunity to try out each class and make your own mind up about the game!
