Cole Perfetti has not played a entire full season in his 3-year NHL career. The first two (2) seasons shortened from injuries, season three (3) (last year) because his output was slipping and was a healthy scratch in the last part of the season when we traded for Tyler Toffoli.

Shane Pinto has the comparable numbers, he signed a 2-year $3.75 million AAV deal with the Senators, The Jets believe this is not a comparable contract.

Cole Perfetti's agents seem to want to have a longer term deal, or potentially asking upwards for $5 million AAV if a bridge deal is to be created.
