What is your teaching possibly-not-moral hack?

I lie and say that Google classroom plagiarism checker tells me who it thinks is cheating based on any form of communication since Google collects all of their data.

And when a kid does cheat and I have no proof, I tell them Google's AI is telling me they cheated and they fess up.

You won't reach every kid. Try your absolute best, but at the end of the year if you don't connect with all of them, that's ok.

How would a global scale alien invasion actually play out?

Yup. Rail gun at near light speed, or EMP, or destroy a few satellites to cloud our orbit and lock us to the planet for a few centuries, or engineer a virus, or cloud the sun for 25 years, or a hyper-aggressive life form that chokes out resources.

Why play out a war on a time scale of 2 years when it took probably 5000 years to get here? what's another 100 years?

You should run it by your lawyer to see if you can put up a big sign saying "Dear HOA members, thank you for covering my $175k of damages. It was YOUR money that ended up covering the damage done by your president. Thaaaaanks!"
