Helping someone else? I dunno, it's not really about what I get in return. I give homeless people and buskers collectively more over the span of a year, not counting the amounts I donate to orgs and causes I'll never be in a situation to take advantage of.

As it is, I pay thru taxes into loads of systems I see no benefit from unless you zoom out, and it's a lot more than .1% a year.
