Is Cobra even allowed to have a driver's license? by ScottFarkus666 in kingcobrajfs

You should feel lucky that you don't live closer to Texas. I thought west virginia, Florida and New Jersey drivers were bad, Texas takes the fucking cake though.

Ice machine recommendations are how I know that someone's a veteran.

Don't just check the big ice machines either, you've gotta check behind the soda fountain if there's one there or in the bucket beneath the drinks too. I've seen some shit that made me never want to eat at a place again, let alone work there

Part of me suspects he's trying to drive the valuation down so he can take it public at cents per share and manipulate the price up again.

Or he's just trying to throw an election like usual.

Nano, with zero gas fees, is a prime example of how people don't care about utility, no matter how amazing, and everything is driven basically only by profits by OneThatNoseOne in CryptoCurrency

[–]Dixnorkel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I said you can argue that BTC has become way more centralized recently in my last comment. LN still requires onchain transactions to open or close a channel so it's not really helping with congestion, transaction fees make it so that people in developing countries can't transact and the internet requirements for a LN node makes it prohibitive for people in non-Western countries to even keep a wallet fully synced.

Exchanges are another issue too, as you raised. I'm saying that BTC was very decentralized in the beginning though, especially compared to most of the new cryptocurrencies that are popping up today. I don't really support it anymore because of the stupid and often centralizing choices that the current Core developers have made over the past 4 years

The "privileged few" were thousands of miners, especially once pools formed and BTC kept its head above the ~$100 mark.

These are people from all walks of life who took it on themselves to help something with a similar vision succeed, not a centralized, structured entity. I think you're confused on the meaning of decentralization when it's used in respect to cryptocurrencies.

You could make the argument that BTC has become more centralized recently with only one accepted core implementation and mining/LN node requirements skyrocketing in terms of internet connectivity and amperage, but you're talking about early adoption and it was very much decentralized at that point, especially in terms of its code

I’m saying a lot of the dudes who rolled with the Nazis in prison, already had those beliefs prior to prison

Yes, and I said that I've met several people who went in as teenagers (before they held these beliefs) and came out as extremely racist assholes, so many that I know you haven't actually worked in restaurants or talked at length with a felon if you aren't aware of how common this is.

Beliefs are most frequently impressed by parents, but people generally have a chance to find their own when/if they leave home. This doesn't happen when they go straight to prison out of high school, they're more influenced by their celly instead. The US prison system is geared to turn people against each other, and racism has always been the most common tool employed by corrections officers to keep prisoners on edge

The rest of your manic ranting is just confusing reading comprehension with grammar, but you aren't even correct about the perceived error lol. Your typing suggests that you dropped out of high school, homie. This would be hilarious if it weren't such a sad reminder of the state of our education system

Lol what was it about "grassroots efforts" that made you confuse it with the existence a centralized entity? Us early adopters had to mine, maintain and advertise crypto while only seeing losses for several years

[–]Dixnorkel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It also shows how there has to be an incentive structure to create a base that is willing to advertise, develop and maintain a currency.

BTC had the advantage that it was mined, so early adopters made bank off of their grassroots efforts. NANO doesn't really have anything going for it except for being superior from a fee standpoint.

If you want something that is similarly structured so that people in developing countries can actually use it, meaning run a node and transact without fees or internet connectivity being prohibitive (and even potentially mine depending on energy availability), check out BCH

Not sure why this guy is being downvoted, it's the exposed meat that is at risk of pathogen exposure. This is why hamburger is so much more dangerous to cook rare or keep for long periods. This is the entire reason that dry aged meat is safe to eat

Lol sorry I'm not a full-time redditor, you crazy person

I was saying that there isn't a shortage of wildfires right now. They blotted out the sun in the US recently.

Having less wildfires doesn't directly correlate with an increase in tick incidents either, it's more closely related to the average humidity along with deer/wildlife populations and abundance of tall grass.

I'm aware that controlled fires prevent wildfires, that's a completely unrelated issue that you're acting insane about. Kinda makes you look like a chatgpt bot or just completely mental

The taste is a little milder in terms of bite but has more notes of garlic and slightly higher moisture content usually.

Usually they're used in sauces and dressings because if you brunoise them (extremely fine, uniform dice) they basically melt in your mouth. Also excellent for frying.

Scientifically, yes. Culinarily, no.

In the same way that tomato is considered a vegetable in the kitchen but fruit everywhere else.

Oven fried sticks by Agent4777 in kingcobrajfs

[–]Dixnorkel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they're being cooked in the oven, this is a before pic

Mozz sticks don't work very well if they're homemade unless you freeze them before frying, otherwise the cheese leaks out of the imperfect breading before it gets brown enough to stay crispy

I would give anything to see the after pic, it's probably just a sheet pan full of burned cheese lol

Edit - I just read that cobes breaded already-breaded mozz sticks, and of course this checks out, so it's even stupider than I thought.
