What's more difficult? The jump from CFB to NFL or NCAAM to NBA?

What do you think is more difficult for a college athlete?

To be a CFB player making the jump to the NFL and adjusting?

Or being a college basketball player and making the jump to the NBA and adjusting?

My friends and I need to settle a debate. They say the skill gap between college basketball to the NBA is much wider than the skill gap between CFB and NFL

Little loss tonight, main lineup did not cash but secondary lineup did end up getting into the cash. had mo wagner in both lineups so wasn't anything great lol. Finally getting back to normal slates. just keep in mind, teams hunting for seeding are going to start playing there main guys more and teams not in it are going to start trolling. Hope you all had a great night tonight.

Does NC State's DJ Burns' have a shot in the NBA?

Hear me out, does he actually have a chance to get on a team you think? He's 6'9 275 with touch and good footwork. Good personality but is already 23 years old. Do you think any team takes a chance on him due to his tournament success?

EDIT: Kenny Lofton is an easy comp I know, Kenny is currently 6'7 275 lbs averaging 23 and 10 in G league

Does he project more as a 1 or a 2?

Cause if he can be 1 guard that can start next to a primary creator, that kinda changes things

Nate Duncan's best young cores in the NBA -- Raptors are 12th

Every year, Nate Duncan and Danny Leroux perform an exercise trying to find the best "young cores" in the league. This is their criteria:

  1. The player counts if they are 25 or younger

  2. Players without team control are discounted (i.e. GTJ is <= 25, but is an UFA this offseason).

  3. They don't care about draft picks. i.e. the Spurs have a ton of future draft picks, but that doesn't factor into this ranking -- since this ranking is about the players already on the team.

The general idea of the above is to answer the question "given this core of players, how do we think they will grow together over the next 5 years".

The full list is below:

  1. Thunder

  2. Grizzlies

  3. Magic

  4. Spurs

  5. Rockets

  6. Cavaliers

  7. Mavericks

  8. Wolves

  9. Pacers

  10. Pelicans

  11. Celtics (only because Tatum is 25)

  12. Raptors

  13. Hornets

  14. Hawks

  15. Pistons

  16. Trailblazers

  17. Jazz

  18. 76ers

  19. Warriors

  20. Heat

  21. Kings

  22. Nets

  23. Bulls

  24. Lakers

  25. Nuggets

  26. Wizards

  27. Knicks

  28. Bucks

  29. Clippers

  30. Suns

Not bad for year-1 of a rebuild imo. If they draft and develop well this year, we should hopefully see them climb into the top 8 next year.

If you're curious to hear them justify their choices, you can listen here: https://open.spotify.com/episode/5dfb1JbzfJ4QiHLxUA2zst?si=511a4a57c2934c56 . I don't agree with everything they say, but it's interesting to see how folks outside of Raptors' discourse see the team.

is this guy a real former nba champion or was he lying?

https://uploaddeimagens.com.br/imagens/M9nSHNw

I met this guy on a bar and started chatting with him (im from Brazil, hard to find any English speakers here), cool dude and wasn't enjoying the place, so I called him to an electronic party that I was going and he accepted, in the uber I asked more about him and he said he was a retired basketball player and then showed the ring, these tattoos are all the numbers he played for. he said he had a very short nba career, he got a 10 day contract from Houston in 95 (that's why the ring), im searching more but I can't find more information about it. he said he played in Europe too, does anyone know him? from what got, he lives in LA, about 6'7 / 6'8 and was a guard

The Spurs' defensive ranking with Wembanyama on the court is 117.2. When he is off the court it is 123.1. And, over the Spurs' last 15 games, their defensive rating with Wemby on the court is 106.0, which would rank first in the NBA - The Athletic

[Russo] Coming into today, teams were 127-9 (.934) all-time when making 23+ 3s in an NBA game. Charlotte Hornets made 23 but lost tonight. It was the second time this season Charlotte's made 23 in a game. They've lost both.
