The Tesla was parked almost if not perfectly within the lines, and anyone with half a brain knows that they are loaded with cameras.

Decepticons are all about Cybertron, therefore it is likely that they would reject an earth-based vehicle mode, regardless of trying to blend in (see Prime Megatron and the Vehicon jets), unless they really like it or find a strategic advantage in it (see Prime Starscream, Soundwave, Knockout, Breakdown, Skyquake, Dreadwing, Airachnid, and the Vehicon cars). Autobots want to blend in and not stir up trouble by scaring humans, so they choose vehicle modes of earth cars when they are on earth.

These things all required some level of skill and knowledge to take advantage of, and Nintendo appears to be trying to make Mario Kart as unskilled of a game as they can, see the phasing out of snaking, wheelies for bikes, the Maka Wuhu respawn cut, and fire hopping and the introduction of marking shortcuts by using extremely obvious level geometry to call attention to opportunities for worse players to "get ahead" by which they mean "catch up" since every shortcut needs a mushroom

Any time a new skill-based strategy arises or something presents any skill-based advantage in a Mario Kart game, Nintendo is quick to annihilate it either in a new update or the next game.
