You'll encounter a range of opinions about how good UW support is. In my experience games not having support at all is fairly rare. Of the modern titles I've played recently only Ace Combat 7 and Elden Ring lack support, though of course the further you go back the less support you'll see.

Also annoyingly.common is video with hard coded black bars. You would assume that any video in cinematic wide-screen would look flawless, but in practice a lot of time the video is in 16:9 with hard coded black bars, so you'll get black bars on all sides instead. Depending on what you're using to play the video this can be more or less easy to resolve. In VLC you can just set a zoom to resolve this but you may need to use a browser extension for web playback and if you encounter it on a desktop application you might be out of luck.

A lot of games will have certain elements only in 16:9 which you may or may not find distracting. Xdefiants gameplay is completely fine in 21:9 but the end of round screens are very clearly framed for 16:9 and have a lot of empty space on a wide-screen display. Similarly in-game cutscenes in Horizon Zero dawn all have.black bars, as do the boon selection screens in Hades. All understandable compromises and definitely not game breaking but you might find them annoying.

Pretty much, it's not worth the resources for a single digit percentage DPS gain.

Xiangling to 90 is possibly worth it if you play overload/burgeon, Bennet's buff increase is very minor from the extra levels, but DPS is DPS. It wouldn't make a meaningful difference to Kaeya, as he doesn't do relevant transformative reaction damage (overload, swirl, *bloom, etc)

I have both and I use them both basically all the time. If I had to pick one then I would pick Kazuha, as he's a lot less replaceable but for OW her skill is excellent.

My condolences. If you already have the Bolide pieces then it's fine.

There are just better sets to run on Noelle that it's just never worth going out of your way to build Bolide.

4PC Glad performs the same and you'll accumulate it passively, and Husk (get it from the strongbox if you want it) and Marechaussee Hunter (only with Furina) both perform better still.

She's a sidegrade to C6 Xingqiu and a downgrade in some teams which depend on XQ's incredibly high hydro app. If you find when building teams that you need another copy of Xingqiu that you don't have then she's a good choice.

Conversely if you're happy with Xingqiu and Furina for the teams you run then you can give her a miss as she's not providing anything you don't already have. if you have other strong hydro off-fielders then she's not essential.

If you want to find teams where she works you can always find a space for her, if you don't want to get her then you can make most teams work just fine with other hydro chars.

Not sure if it changes anything, but the strongbox will be expanded to include more sets next patch.

IMO I would farm Deepwood/Gilded until I had a 4PC DW EM set for Nahida, a 4PC Gilded set for Raiden and then move on to Emblem.

Al-Haitham works fine with 2*2PC 80EM sets and Furina can get rainbow pieces or 2PC sets. For anyone who wants MH they are likely to have at least one other good set as well.

Also the point of the comparison is that Top Gun is about the jets, so filming them practically was the only option. For Marvel they're just set dressing and doing them with VFX is going to be way easier and cheaper than convincing the USAF to let them borrow some F-35As. They still don't look great but they're also in the trailer for all of 2 seconds.

If you feel like you really want a second copy of XQ either to pair together or to run on each side, or you like XQ's kit but not their visual design, then Yelan is a good choice. If you're happy with your current selection of hydro characters then she can be skipped.

You can always find a team for Yelan, but you can also usually work around not having her.

Navia is very strong and versatile but any team she's good in would also be good with other characters. Both are great characters that you probably wouldn't regret picking, but you can easily justify skipping as well. I'd guess that Navia, being newer, is likely to rerun first, but Yelan is a crowd favourite so I wouldn't expect her to be gone for too-too long either.

Yes. The ER is useful to burst off CD, the passive is excellent and HP% swords are pretty inaccessible.

The Saudi's have already expressed interest and signed a Memorandum of Understanding. We've been more than happy to export Eurofighter to Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, I can't see why that would be changing with FCAS.

Sucrose and Fischl are great early gets. You don't really have enough characters to do proper team building, so I wouldn't worry too much about your team comp, just pick the 4 characters you like the most and run with them.

You can't really make mistakes early, as the first few steps of character progression are fairly easy to get.

2. Diluc/Gaming, Yelan, Furina, Charlotte/Sayu C1

or:

1. EM Raiden, Kirara/Dendro MC, Collei, Xingqiu

2. Bennet, Xiangling, Yelan, Furina/Fischl/Lynette
