Valve fanboys like you are so fucking insufferable. I've been using Linux/Proton for years. I know the limitations and what games don't work, games that I still want to be able to play.

Dude, part of the value proposition was that it could run Windows (and yes, that implies ALSO THE GPU DRIVERS FFS), because everybody who has a tiny bit of experience with Proton knows that not every game will work. I don't want to be prevented from playing my games. The lack of a GPU driver will prevent me from playing my games. It's valid criticism.

However, I also think what annoys a lot of Linux users (including me) is people wanting to install Windows on their Deck day 1, minute 1 without ever giving SteamOS a chance.
Dude, I've been using Linux and Proton for years. I know the limitations. I don't want to be locked into Linux. Or are you able to use Game Pass on SteamOS?
