It's funny how last year was this massive war between CoD, Halo and BF, even with 2042 being branded by fans as the "CoD Killer"
I really think all three pissed off their fandoms in some way, but 2042 just...ouch.
Even with Vanguard, I don’t necessarily think it pissed off CoD fans but rather that they found it boring. Caldera wasn’t well received either but Vanguard isn’t really bad. Just not memorable.
The sentiment I'm seeing is that Vanguard is easily one of the worst CoDs in a long time and that even a lot of the core CoD streamers have been dropping due to how bad it is. Not to mention of the players in general.
CoD streamers (that I know of )only play Warzone unless you’re talking about the pro players. Which like I mentioned, Caldera is not well received. What? I don’t believe that’s true. Rumors are Treyarch is taking 2023 off since they’ve been through a shit ton of crunch on their last two games. Then it’s back to the three year dev cycle.
Apparently a free to play COD is coming in 2023 but so knows what it is.
Classic late Friday news dump. By the time November hits, Modern Warfare II and possibly Warzone 2 will be out. I’m hoping Season 3 brings the content otherwise I may abandon ship completely until the BR comes.

Problem is that was for an 80s based game and made sense. Why any monster stuff? In ww2? Fortnite does what ever and usually there is a tie in like a current show or movie. Snoop Dogg and Godzilla aren’t from the 40s
Godzilla makes sense for a WWII setting so not sure why that’s hard to believe. Adding King Kong is probably for the Monsterverse tie in + it’s just a cool thing to do lol
