Psychologists suggest America's fascination with incest stems from sexual excitement spurred by the thought of breaking taboos. They also say it could be because of an interest in 'novelty'. Dr Peter Kanaris, a psychologist and sex therapist in Long Island, told DailyMail.com: 'The initial interest in incest porn is taboo so, therefore, that increases the excitation around it. 'America also has a less open society [when it comes to discussing sex] than other countries. 'When I go to conventions, there is research from Canada and overseas [on sex education] - but not so much the US. 'That's because we are dealing with religion and a series of inhibitions there that only heighten the interest in the taboo.

EXCLUSIVE'Biden's brain is aging, Trump's is dementing': Experts analyze series of gaffes made by aging presidents in recent months - and reveal what it REALLY means for their health
Doctors have told DailyMail.com of a fascinating theory about why it is former President Donald Trump, not President Joe Biden, who is at the greatest risk of cognitive decline. Biden, 81, has suffered a series of public gaffes, falls and memory blanks that now mean a large majority of Americans do not think he is fit to run for office. Trump, 77, is also no stranger to high-profile verbal slip-ups, which his supporters say are a result of the off-the-cuff public speaking style he's become famous for. However, experts now claim there are key - but nuanced - differences in Trump and Biden's gaffes that could have important implications for their health. And others have pointed to a change in the way Trump walks (shown) that may be indicative of an underlying brain problem.
Puerto Rico declares dengue fever epidemic amid alarming surge of 'bone breaking' disease - in warning to spring breakers
Health officials in Puerto Rico have declared 'bone-breaking' disease dengue fever an epidemic following an alarming surge of cases. The US territory has recorded at least 549 cases this year, and more than 340 have been hospitalized. The health department warned that this is a 140 percent spike from this time last year and nearly half of those reported for all of 2023. More than 40 percent of the cases Puerto Rico's dengue cases have been concentrated in the capital of San Juan, which has nearly 350,000 residents. The epidemic comes amid ferocious outbreaks in South American countries like Brazil, Peru, Paraguay, and Argentina, with officials in Brazil likening it to the darkest days of Covid. Health officials have not released travel guidance, though the surge does come amid peak tourist season, as Puerto Rico has reached an all-time high in tourism revenue.
