The people walking their dogs taking up the entire sidewalk are the worst. Like I’m supposed to risk stepping in dog piles on the tree lawn so the dog doesn’t have to.

Download a show you’ve been wanting to binge. Bring lots of snacks you’re excited to eat. Wear really comfy clothes. Prepare for it in a fun way instead of anticipating it with dread. Think about the technological marvel that is flying and how lucky we are to have it available and within our means. I still freak out from time to time, but it does get easier the more you do it. While I agree with all the advice here to wear what makes you feel good, you wouldn’t have posted this if wearing skinny jeans made you feel good.

I am short and had a hard time converting too. I found cropping wider, straight, or bootcut jeans works better since they don’t look as baggy. And a floor-length flare will make you look taller! Try on lots and lots of different pairs and you’ll find something that works. If they’re tighter in the thighs that helps too. Good luck on your journey!
