That season ended absolutely perfectly so it was obviously the right decision. Sometimes less is more and the whole reason last season was so good was because the cast and production showed restraint instead of trying to tack on 6 more episodes and draw the whole thing out.

Also, I don’t think we should be believing everything Monica says as the gospel truth. She is obviously anxious to stay relevant and is a known liar.

This is significant enough that is going to give him a bad reputation at work if not outright get him fired. You don’t want any of that to splash back on you, just as you are starting out in your career. It is also concerning to me that his judgment is so poor that he doesn’t realize the professional ramifications, even if he doesn’t care about the moral ones. I would end this quietly and send the signal to everyone at work that you are all business for the rest of your time there. If you are the youngest one there, you need to hold yourself to a higher standard to not get written off as immature or unprofessional.

The problem is, her social media following is basically her largest asset at this point. The best thing she has going for her in terms of professional opportunity is the fact that she has so many social media followers and relatively high engagement. If people stop following her or engaging with her posts, if brands are reluctant to work with her because they don’t want their products that they want seen as legitimate posted next to this stuff, she will have burned her major non-Bravo income stream.

Absolutely, I would go so far as to say that is a major contributor to the reason that Pump and Villa Blanca are no longer open but Sur/TomTom/SAH/Schwartz and Sandy’s are destination dining for Bravo fans. People weren’t interested in eating in LVP’s spots just on that basis, they want to see people they have seen on television, even if it is Peter or Anne.

I know someone who owns a pretty successful premises like this. The other element is that he worked in hospitality for decades and is ALWAYS there. This man is always serving or managing or doing the books or fixing something. He would probably have to hire 3 or 4 people to replace himself if he ever had to- think of how much that would impact the bottom line. I think these spaces can absolutely work in the right market but they aren’t likely to make enough money to sustain multiple partners unless they are putting in a ton of sweat equity.
