This keeps getting reposted but isn’t true in the slightest. Tudor would need to grow 5x in market share and turnover to directly compete with Omega, while Omega is only 3x behind Rolex.
Tudor has made some decent developments but they are still leagues behind Omega in quality and name recognition. Owning both brands and recent models of both brands, it’s noticeable how far behind Omega Tudor is, although Tudor’s movements are catching up spec wise. That said, Tudor’s same price category competitor from Swatch, Longines, has also made great advancements are are nearly double the market share of Tudor.
For how much hype Tudor gets on Reddit, they’re actually pretty small in the overall market share. Although, this might change as Rolex does seem to be pushing them more.
