Healing Season 4 Mythic+

Ah, so this is a new change and I haven’t just suddenly become shit? I would usually have all my 15s done by now and be well on my way to getting the +20 portals to the “new dungeons” and this season we’re failing +12s in pretty decent PuG groups.

Interesting.

Healing Season 4 Mythic+

I’ve been healing Mythic+ since Legion and have never felt a new season scaled this aggressively before. Like when S3 dropped we banged out every +20 pretty quickly. I was pugging 17-20s without much issue 4-5 weeks in. This feels brutal.

Damage has been scaled up to such an extent that when healing +12, +14 etc most mob and boss mechanics start to be literally one-shots. This obligates proper control of pulls from stun rotations to AoE silences and priority kicks, and the somewhat advanced use of personal defensives to not drop dead.

What this has created is an environment where it is fun, and even pretty easy, to heal higher keys with a friend group in voice comms, coordinating stops and calling out defensives. But in a PuG environment, it’s a god damned nightmare. The exact same +14 Hollow can feel pretty doable with my buddies and absolutely fucking impossible in a PuG. And yes, these pug players are good. Most have 2700-3009 IOs from last season.

But the damage ramping is really requiring a level of coordination that is often absent in PuGs. This is always true, granted. But usually I feel this way at MUCH higher keys. Not +14. I realize the season is still new and we have some gear to acquire still. But a lot of people are approaching (or passing) i520 now and this isn’t feeling much better.

This is starting to feel like the first season in Dragonflight where I am going to have to opt out of healing any PuG. Is anyone else feeling this?

Tore my right distal bicep tendon at 40 carrying like 150lbs of groceries up the stairs. Heard it tear. Should’ve seen the bruise. I didn’t have insurance at the time so I threw on a sling and baby’d it. Got a frozen shoulder from not using that arm for 3 months.

Was brutal. I sympathize with you.

This would be extremely popular down here where I live. People would vote for this in droves. Right now, all the uptown white folks have to pay a fortune for private schools, like Montessori, to keep their kids away from poor blacks. They would save a fortune if public schools could do that for them. Bob Jones university isn’t too far from me, either. They would jump at the opportunity to segregate (legally).

Sad to say, I could see a solid 50-70% of my city supporting segregated schools.

My credit score tanked over 120 points when I paid off $181,000 in student loans. It counted as “closing” like 16 accounts. I had trouble financing a vehicle afterwards.

It’s then that I realized that credit does not score how likely you are to pay off debt. Credit scores how likely you are to CARRY debt. The best thing you can do for your credit score is have a mountain of debt that you dutifully pay every month but never finish paying. The worst thing you can do is pay off all your debts. That proves to lenders that you’re not lucrative.

TIL that despite speculation and assumptions that he is a homosexual, Richard Simmons has never actually publicly discussed his sexuality

  1. Of course he’s gay. He’s outrageously gay. It does not require confirmation anymore than we need to confirm the sky is blue.

  2. It doesn’t matter. Why do people care? It’s none of our business and has zero bearing on his work or career.

These are not mutually exclusive positions.
