The only cards missing from the deck are generic ritual stuff like diviner + herald of arc light and pre-preparation; however, manju and preparation are still legal.
This is a really strong deck in lower powered formats because you have to play mostly in defense mode against it, and you can't really ever target any card without losing your board. It's only kept in check by handtraps which are pretty absent from the event.
This is basically every event. It's a playground for pet decks that don't work on ladder. If you don't have a pet deck, you're not going to have fun. And btw, they rerun all events. It's worth having one deck crafted for each event, because you will use it again. At worse you skip out on 1/10 current meta decks just to have 1 pet deck every month.
I don't know why it's a hot take, but I think no card should exist that skips your opponent's turn. Not a single one. I don't care if Heat Wave is bad. I don't care if you need to hard draw specific two card combos. I don't care if, "technically your opponent could still set." If a card essentially skips your opponent's turn, it is the most nonsensical, antithetical thing to "gameplay."
It's literally the worst part of Uno -- a party game nobody takes seriously, because it can't exist in serious settings. You don't get to dunk a basketball, then keep the ball, and dunk it again. You don't get to move your pawn, then move your pawn again, ignoring your opponent's turn. You don't get to create a 5 negate board, then say, oh sorry, it's my turn again. A game requires both party's a chance to play, even if at severe disadvantage going second -- full stop.
Same kind of person who agrees to meet up for dinner, never shows up and never messages you. They just want the appearance of being a good friend (say yes to everything) without actually putting in any of the work (they don't give two fucks about you.) They lack basic empathy -- well a lot of people lack basic empathy. Most people just don't want to admit that they don't actually give a fuck though, so they lie instead.

I've played for over three years, my account has all the dps and supports it will ever need. The game barely powercreeps 1.0 characters too. The only thing I'm interested in is whatever will make gameplay more fun. I was 100% skipping Xianyun until I tried her out. I rolled C1 Yelan solely for zipping around on the ground. It's just fun. I'll probably go for Xianyun constellations next year, since I don't really feel the need to spend money on the game anymore. Exploration just feels really bad without both on my team now.

This modern trend of people just snitching on themself is too funny. People have gotten so bold with the anonymity of social media, they forget the world has actual consequences, and just boldly claim doing terrible things for terrible reason while outing who they are and where they work at the same time. It's beyond bizarre. He could have just bragged about it on a burner account without mentioning a specific anime, and people would assume he's an edgy 14 year-old troll with no role in the business.

It's similar how before calling people pedos, the far-right would call people socialist. They thought that was the gravest insult, then people like Bernie Sanders owned it. It's hard to use socialist as an insult when your opposition says, "yeah, and so what?"
We've more or less seen the same turn with the terms nazi or fascist. It used to be only extreme fringe groups that would own it, now the GOP has slid so far right, it's just normal discourse, "Yeah, I'm a fascist, so what?"
