It's march madness, and most teams in the elite 8 are teams you'd expect to miss a bowl game or at best make one of the lesser bowls. Alabama, Clemson, and Tennessee are the only ones that have made a new year six recently. The only school that's a blue blood in basketball and football that I know of is Florida.
I understand they're different sports, but money can do as much in football as it can in basketball.
