Three main things come to mind.

1. Where are you going for your research on the enneagram? I really like Beatrice Chesnutt's book "The complete enneagram". She talks a lot about the difference between being a a healthy, neutral, and unhealthy of each number. Seeing as you are younger and in college, I am 27 so not a lot older but still older, you likely are an unhealthy of whatever number you are. It is very rare to be healthy in college, that is not a criticism of you just my observation.
2. You are in college which is basically a pressure cooker of stress and makes it way harder to figure out what type you are because you can be all over your stress stable continuum.
3. Keep looking at the counter types, I thought I was an eight then found out that counter type 6 (SX) can look like eights because they attack the things that scare them. There may be a counter type of one that you would connect with more. Some of what you say fits with what I know of the counter type 5, so maybe look into that?

Finally, don't stress about having everything figured out, your are 17 you have time to figure out yourself. I have only just started to really figure out myself in the past 2 years.
