My mom has a friend that has cancer, and she found out last week that it's spread everywhere. She had setup her "Death With Dignity" paperwork, but was given a regimen of pills to take. It is very interesting, and I wish it was more widely accepted as an option, and she could have access to something like this. We are all afraid the pills won't work right, and she will suffer before she goes.

Ive been a CAD Designer for almost 20 years, and work with multiple states and jurisdictions. 90% of these silly looking things are merely built to meet some code. I.e. this could be because the code states something like “any number of risers (stairs) higher than 4 must utilize a 36” hand rail with a seismic load of more than 100lbs/foot.” At one time there were probably no rails, and they added them in later, but who knows.

Code compliance.
If you’re in a situation where the number of ounces you carry can mean surviving or not, it’s great. If you want to carry a knife and don’t want to be reminded you’re carrying one throughout the day, it’s great. If you want to forget you have one in your pocket, and look around for 20 minutes because you “swear you just saw your knife.” it’s great.
I did when I was in the military. Got burnt out on the feeling. Stopped one day and now it’s been 6 years. Just don’t like it anymore really.

You shouldn’t be able to take a product that was one a freshly made item, mass-produce it, ships it everywhere, and still be able to call it “original”.
The Place To Post Images of Cybercucks Stuck In Their Cybertrucks. Also permitted is general mockery making fun of this ridiculous vehicle. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A SUB FOR POSTING GENERAL TESLA ISSUES. NOR IS IT A GENERAL WANKPANZER DISCUSSION SUB. Seen a low polygon truck stuck in a situation that a real truck would cope with easily? Then this is the place to post it. Top marks go to pictures of them stuck in an inch of mud or snow or sand or light gravel. You get the idea…

Do they realize this isn't a flex? This is why the whole car fails when a brake light goes out or a speaker blows
I live in a temperate rainforest and a guy up the street bought one. Saw it plugged in outside his house. Curious to see what shade of reddish brown it will be in a few months.

Arguably the best Target parking lot view in America
My daughter has an unobstructed view of Rainier from her bedroom during the winter when the trees are bare. During the spring/summer months the view changes from mountain to forest.

What wallets you guys have?
I rotate mine since I use them in outdoor work environments, but the dango and Ridge wallets are my faves. The Dango P1 Pen wallets are great.
Wow, I have to say, in my 43+ years of existence, this is the first time I’ve ever been saddened to see a thigh gap grow….
Or anyone else’s life drama for that matter. I may not like what I’m seeing, and I may offer to help if I can, but to do more than express disgust or love for what I am witnessing, offer assistance then moving on is nothing more than ego trying to run things.

Mary Kate and Ashley
For the longest time, and I mean adulthood before learning, I thought “Mary-Kate and Ashley were the 3 sisters names, Mary, Kate, and Ashley.
