Harvey’s energy has been a bright spot in the team.

However I do question his ability to play a more controlling midfielder so we do put our defense under pressure. I think Harvey has been contributing to TAAs problems lately because he doesn’t have Hendo in front to sort out the right side in the midfield.

If you’re unable to clear 2k, you’re probably right one sim probably isn’t different from the other in terms of cleanliness. But I’ve never had a service be able to give me so many clean races that have been competitive before, albeit I never played ACC and my sim experience prior was Pcars and Pcars2.

Crashes happen, they happen IRL I don’t expect every race to be clean but a majority of mine are, and I’m really happy with the purchase. I don’t feel the need to justify it, I just want you to know my opinion.

And I will say, just so you know my background, I’m 3.2k oval, 3.8k road.

Honestly depends on if you’re running oval or not. Road is genuinely less than 10% if you’re smart about it.

Yeah I mean I’m certainly not gonna sit here and tell you everything is avoidable. I just ask you question yourself on if you could’ve reacted when you saw them get loose.

I mean only you’re going to know if when they broke traction you thought in your head: “a mistake time to capitalize” or “oh he wrecking, check up” or “oh he wrecking please don’t hit me”

At a certain point it just gets down to training your reflexes to give you a better chance at survival. It’ll never be 100% but I think if you’re honest with yourself and confront the last thought that went through your head it can lead to adjustments that maybe save your race in the future.

You’re not understanding the difference between avoiding all cars, and avoiding racing and taking precautions to avoid incidents.

Rules of Engagement: 1.) Don’t go for a move you can’t back out of.

2.) The more aggressive you defend, the more aggressive they will attack. Choose wisely.

3.) Just because it’s theoretically correct, doesn’t mean the interaction will play out inch perfect. Be flexible in every interaction.

4.) Always drive within your limits. Driving full tilt qualy laps every lap leaves very little room for adjustment if other cars make mistakes. Driving at 7/10ths gives you 3 more tenths to avoid wrecks.

Note that none of these rules mean, filter yourself to the end and putt around for SR. This is just to preserve your car. Also, you can take things into consideration depending on what the situation around you is. At the end of the day it’s all about managing risks.

Not to mention it’s personal incidents so some weeks off tracks are easier than others, additionally there’s not a huge range to compare to.

I don’t see the issue you’re identifying in my day to day racing. The “constant moves that don’t have a chance”

It’s ok, you feel fully vindicated in the crusade, but all I’m going to say is if I run you down, I’m not waiting. It’s faster for me to pull you at that point. If I go for a move into an overtaking spot and you defend. I’m going to work you over to give up the spot. If I think I’m faster, why would I help you get draft that helps you defend from me? That will create a more dangerous situation. There are times to chill and sit back, but if you are leading a pack that the leaders broke away from, and I catch you. It’s time for me to pass you.

Situations to sit back and not be aggressive in:

1.) Part of the lead pack and can see the leader. Generally P8 and up, mostly only used in the beginning of races.

2.) You just got passed by someone.

That’s really about it. If you got detached from the lead pack, no amount of working together is going to bring us back up to the leaders.

So there are races where I get annoyed at people attacking but basically what it comes down to is you’re telling people to stay behind you because you think you’re faster and well mate, it’s racing. If they get past you maybe you won’t be able to get past them.

No making bones about it, every time you think this you’re letting your ego fuel your thought process. So yes, some people out there go for moves early in a race but that’s their strategy. Get over it, it’s racing.

There’s no evac bus. Anywhere. Red or blue. Shelters are located around major population centers. The CDC recommendation is that if you don’t have a car you coordinate with friends or family and as a last resort call authorities to secure transportation.
