2nd 4-star in the next weeklies by esequel in PathofChampions

[–]NeitherDuckNorGoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Luden + loose cannon + some extra power for her so she doesn't get recalled as easielly.

Then try to get drawing and spell mana Regen / spell cost reduction or created card cost reduction powers during your run.

You should be able to take down anything purely from the nexus damage that way.

Is there any easy way to kill this assholes? They creep me tf out literally the most creepiest thing besides the oversized rats and the dude with 20 arms i just got to caria manor and barely lived finding the first grace in that place by Chemical-Sun4837 in Eldenring

[–]NeitherDuckNorGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, that's the great thing about Elden ring : it's very open and you might find a place for the first time at very different timings.

I fir exemple found and cleared the Carian Manor only after I got the magma wyrm's greatsword, which made fighting those quite easy.

eli5 why do we use "s" at the end of words with 0 quantity? by Vexachi in explainlikeimfive

[–]NeitherDuckNorGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

French does have a slight difference where anything that isn't 1 or -1 has to be shown as a quantity and not an unit ( "du pain" VS "un pain" for example)

Flashy Flash and WDM sat on the same chair in the S-class meeting by Saitama_ssa_Diciple in OnePunchMan

[–]NeitherDuckNorGoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or is it because they had the right amount of chairs but didn't expect Saitama, so they had to sit in the same chair because Saitama was occupying either of theirs.

AI detects 20,000 hidden taxable swimming pools in France, netting €10m by izumi3682 in Futurology

Not really, they already do constant random inspections to make sure you didn't do unauthorized, illegal or undocumented changes to your property, that system just flag some addresses to send the "random" inspections to them in priority.

GGG, please, please, please help minion builds. I am tired of my minions dying in white, magic maps. by expeLeviosa in pathofexile

People day one didn't knew that the +2 helm mod had 1/40th of the weight of the +3 socketed minion gem mood it replaced, so they priced those helmets very wrong.

TIL House Termites did make it over to England, but a 27 year government funded programme eradicated them in 2021. by enchantedspring in todayilearned

In France, my parent's house is from the 1820's and it's far from being the oldest building around.

Altho the two worlds wars going through the area did force many newer houses to be made.

Pokemon is also a very special scenario : it is the most known licence on the planet and is targeting kids. The main group of people buying their games are parents who don't (or no longer) care enough about games to realize how low quality Pokemon got recently compared to other games, and they buy those games for kids who haven't been playing games long enough to see that either.

Nintendo know that they can get away with low quality Pokemon games, so why would they invest any more money into doing better games ?

Dunno about other industries, but last time they checked, Japanese game devs where actually way less productive in both quality and quantity.

Their really strict decision structure as well as their culture making working more important than getting results and the insane amount of burn out means that their workforce is really bad at producing good video games in an effective manner.

Those millionaires/billionaires don't even realize it but that work culture is actively damaging their profit margins because they are stuck with the mindset of "more hours worked = more productivity" which really isn't true in a lot of industries.

To be fair, a lot of them will come knocking and do hidden threats. Also it's pretty common for them to buy debts from people that passed away and try to get their family to pay even when they legally don't have to.

2 girls knocked on my door last night asking for tampons by lltx19 in CasualConversation

I would bet on scouting rather than direct home invasion. Takes notes of the valuables, any security system or dog, is the owner there ? And then raid the place with minimal risk

No, they want to check if you have valuables and if you are home, they are scouts for a thief group

And people wonder why this sub exists…. So every teacher in Florida who went to college, took out student loans, and got their certification now gets paid the same rate as Mary Joe whose only qualification was marrying Gomer Pyle… by [deleted] in antiwork

So here in France we had all our basic classes (math, French, languages, history, geography, economical sciences, social sciences, theoretical physics and philosophy) in the same designated room for each group of kids, and then we had specific rooms/facilities with materials for applied physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, engineering and sports.

Altho they did try to setup those classes in bulk of 2-4 hours to reduce the amount of walking and also they almost always set it up so that those classes take either a quarter or half day and the "walking between classes" always happens during a recess.

Update: AITA for ACCIDENTALLY telling my fiancé I hate his sister and she won’t be a part of my wedding? by ImageNo1045 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]NeitherDuckNorGoose 33 points34 points  (0 children)

You don't even need to read her posts. The entire point of a wedding is to unite two people, but when talking about that event to her soon-to-be husband she says "my wedding".

To me this show extreme selfishness.

What's the equivalent of "dude" for a female friend? by suspicious_apple5678 in RandomThoughts

[–]NeitherDuckNorGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It kinda is. The most common explanation comes from dude being short for dandy.

Now, not only was dandy used a lot for women too, but even when they tried to separate them by using dandyess or dandizette, those can still get shorted to "dude".

On top of that, the "masculine" use of dude pretty much had nothing to do with the original meaning so using it also for women isn't really a problem.

Average and median income takes into account unemployed people, people with part time job and pensioners, while average and median salary do not, this can create a very large difference between both depending on the demographic of the area.
