I believe if you craft prefixes can't be changed, then it won't give you a prefix option from the veiled orb, but I could be incorrect on that one. I'm not the best crafter in the world, I'm sure there's much smarter people in the world. I just took the 33% chance and was going to recraft if I didn't hit it

the veiled orb adds a prefix/suffix and removes one at random, so it was a 33/33/33% chance to remove the prefixes can't be changed/random suffix craft/spell %. In my case it hit the prefixes can't be changed. If it would have hit the % spell then it would be back to square 1 with the craft

I’m not sure of the exact damage at the moment, but even with meh gear/jewels and relying on flasks for resists, I’m basically face tanking everything at the moment, with some really massive upgrades to still get

I only spent 20 div in total. Hit it in like 6 essences, first veiled orb, and first reforge speed. So I’m going to assume I got extremely lucky lol. I would guesstimate most people would spend 30-40 div on this

on the plus side you have a weapon that lasts you until mirror level. I mostly just wanted a craft that would be worth putting the enchant on

well you can skip the the reforge speed step. I think the best way for you would be to woe essence til high spell damage + chaos T1 damage with open prefix/suffix, veiled orb -> hope it doesn't delete spell/chaos, then finish with prefixes can't be changed reforge crit and craft double damage. I'm not 100% sure on that, but that's probably how I'd go about it. Full disclaimer, I'm only an okay crafter, someone might have better ideas than me

oh nice! that's a solid snipe. When I checked there wasn't anything good up, but wanted to get the ball rolling with the alberon's sitting there in my inventory. Definitely good for us that there's 4-5 different bases we can start with and still get a decent build without having to spend 100's of div

for sure, there just weren't very many bases up for sale in my budget at the time. 12 div was a steal for the chaos damage fracture, getting strength and attack speed were looking at 30-35 divs, I mostly just wanted an "okay" sword since my buddy got me a pair of replica alberon's from heist. Figured this will last me until I have enough for a GG sword, or save up enough to mirror that ridiculous sword someone posted on reddit yesterday for original sin version

crafting steps for me:

Buy a fractured base for 12 div
6 link it
spam essence of woe until high spell damage + open prefix open suffix

crafted a random suffix

used veiled orb, unveiled chaos pen

crafted prefixes can't be changed, harvest reforged speed

crafted double damage while focused.

Def some things that can be improved on, probably should have split the base. Could have spent more currency looking for things like strength.

If you're like me and had no idea where to go to craft yourself a sword once you got your replica alberon's, I figured I'd show my sword that I crafted last night, If you have any improvements that can be made or see where I screwed something up feel free to let me know! I know it's not perfect by any means, but this will definitely last me for awhile.

I’m thinking something along the lines of spam essences for spell damage and an open suffix, cannot roll caster, veiled orb, unveil chaos pen. Prefixes can’t be changed, reforge speed? Am I super off with my thinking here?
