I agree with this. They specifically display electrical disturbances whenever someone or something in the upside-down interacts with the area of an electrical object in the human realm. I could see the explanation being that the mind flayer's power was enough to even be picked up by the film of a camera, which can be easily affected by electro-magnetic activity anyways.

Your plan sounds effective, but do remember not to overwork yourself. Yes, you're at a plateau, but that doesn't mean your work isn't resulting in benefits to your body besides a lower BMI. You know your body best, so you know when you need to rest, just make sure to be reasonable with yourself when you want to push harder but your body needs a break.

Scrubs. The way that show could find hope in hopeless situations, but also show the absolute despair someone could feel in those situations was powerful. I learned a lot about myself from my reactions to that show, I still rewatch it sometimes.
