Movie is exploitative and offensive to the existence of Marilyn Monroe. Anything about to that movie should not even be considered for a nomination with how horrendous it was.

Relax, it was a good film. Exploitative and offensive? How so? Just because they told a story about a woman being exploited by Hollywood, doesn’t mean the film itself is exploiting her.
It was a horrible film. First it is based off of a FICTIONAL book about a very real person. It brought nothing to the story of Marilyn Monroe besides depicting her suffering and traumatic scenes one after the other. Truly one of the most disgusting films I have seen in recent history filled with over-sexualization, trauma porn, and it went against almost everything Marilyn would have wanted. It is incredibly disrespectful and offensive to her legacy.
Bullet Train was more offensive than Blonde, and yet you loved that movie

Aggressively mediocre. Barry Jenkins made a way better film after this, “If Beale Street Could Talk”, which should have won Best Picture. And yet it didn’t even get a nomination. They had to make room for Bohemian Rhapsody and Vice lmao
Yeah no I disagree. GSTA is way better. On DSU Alex G didn’t really know how to sing and it definitely affects the quality of the songs. Besides most of the songs like Harvey and Icehead sound like unfinished projects.
