I'd been avoiding starting to watch Enterprise since I heard it was pretty weak, but after the shaky first season, the show really grows on you.
Archer might be my 2nd favorite captain, and Trip and T'Pol are two of my favorite characters in ST.
I really hated the ending though, and also missing Archer's speech that we saw when he time traveled. Trip's death was probably the worst offense. Also there were too many loose ends. Whatever happened to the crew in all those years after Terra Prime, they never showed Trip and T'Pol dealing with the loss of their baby after that episode, the ending robs all the characters of any agency, I could go on an on.
Does anyone know what happened to Archer, T'Pol and the crew after the series ended? Memory Alpha is a bit vague.
But yeah, great show, probably my 2nd or 3rd fav after DS9 and TNG. Don't believe the negative hype, Archer is an incredible captain, Sccott Bakula is amazing. Anyone who hasn't seen it, please watch it, and give it time. It'll grow on you.
