It just sounds like you only like fighting games and you’re unhappy that the rest of the world doesn’t necessarily share your opinion. Fighters aren’t innovating, they aren’t changing any kind of landscape or bringing anything new to the table. It’s just two characters in a barebones arena slapping each other and trading horribly voice acted/horribly written one liners. If you like that, cool, but don’t pretend it’s groundbreaking or not just as “stale.”
