Remove IL and run 1 IL+? Remove IL and run 1 IL+?
Discussion

I’m thinking of removing IL and adding IL+ instead. Thinking IL+ will be the same as IL with INJ but includes OUT or GTD.

When searching it on yahoo they define it as IL eligible designations - Injured (INJ) or Out For Season (OFS). IL+ eligible designations - Out (O) or Game Time Decision (GTD).

So that means if I only run IL+ and a player is INJ, I cannot put the INJ player in that IL+ slot?

Appreciate it if someone can confirm for me

Does anyone implement game maximums in their weekly matchups? Does anyone implement game maximums in their weekly matchups?

I run a 10 man league on ESPN, H2H categories, 4 pick ups a week, 1 IL and the last few years we have added a 45 game max limit a week. This was voted on because the league felt teams were winning based on pure volume of players vs quality. This limit is not hit that often, but it at least stops a team from going crazy and getting 50+.

One member has asked we remove this rule and leave it open, along with increasing pickups. Most are in disagreement with this, so it likely won’t pass. And honestly we may lower the game limit a bit.

Curious on what others thoughts are on the matter. Have you had to overcome something similar in your league and did you implement something diff to combat it? Personally I love the game max limit. I like the idea of my best 40 (example) vs your best. If you’re injured, it’ll hurt, but you can at least field a full team.
