i agree 100, the clarity and polish in the game could use work before release. i love the art and graphic style but may need tweaking as it can make it hard like you said.

overwatch seems so crisp in its clarity, if this game could get to that i’d love that!

i think the idea is really creative but it would have to be done tastefully.

i could see it limiting which characters your team can play or limit what you want to play to avoid certain buffs for the enemies (and teammates pressuring to switch off for that reason).

if you do all the dailies and challenges you should be cutting it close but will be fine :)

only if there’s a synergy with spidey that lets him hold his web onto the back of the glider 👀

i wish it were half the price. $15 would be tempting, $30 monthly, in my view, is way way too much for a quality of life feature

leave and do what’s best for you. it’s just a retail job, the world will still spin even if a department struggles or whatnot, that is not your responsibility. worst case scenario they can pull from other stores, do what’s best :)

“The biggest thing for me is movement. I don’t dislike it, and it has a ton of potential. However, the biggest thing for now is that the movement is not fluid, natural, or flowy. Right now there is a lot of freedom in the movement, which is a really good thing. The last thing you want is to feel held back by the game itself.

However, the movement feels stiff, jagged, and unnatural. For example, Hulk jets through the air often reaches the end of his velocity and then gets forcefully pulled down, and immediately uprights himself. Spidey and Venom swing around like a grappling hook, and it doesn’t feel natural to transition from the swing to the landing. There seems to be a lack of forward momentum and inertia. I can’t predict my own, my teammates, or my enemy’s movements because they seem to stop and move around on a dime.

I don’t think the solution is to slow down the movement or to limit movement freedom, but instead to (1) try and account for these momentums instead of flying through the movement ability and abruptly stopping after it, to (2) improve the transitional animations so it feels flowier, and (3) not have abilities forcefully make characters unnaturally obey movements by, for example, adjusting the Hulk’s speed and range depending on his direction/velocity instead of having his falling in airtime have so much variability to try and make up for it.

I think if this game can get the flow of the entire game and smoother (less jagged and stop-and-go) movement right, that would be a huge step in making it feel even more polished and consistent.”

ahh makes sense! that’s something i’ve been noticing more and more too. wayyy too many shields, invulnerability, health etc for it to pop off

Milia is pretty low on the list. she’s been helping me low/mid game, does she fall off late?

because it uses psychologically predatory tactics. everything in marketing does to a degree, but i think this is too far with it.

it draws you in with free, and if you make the small purchase, it makes you feel like you’re that much closer to the final reward.

and since you already sunk money in with the small purchase (sunk cost, same thing gambling utilizes), you figure you may as well finish out for the final one since you’re there.

why all of these steps instead of just offering it all in a shop offer? it’s pretty clear as to why.
