The NBA has Jerry West. MLB has a generic unidentified player, but urban legend says he's modeled off Harmon Killebrew.

If the NFL ditched the shield for an MLB/NBA silhouette logo, who or what would be the player in it?

Personally, I'm thinking Walter Payton or (if you want to go even more old school) Johnny Unitas. Feels like it'd have to be a QB or RB.

NBA Young boy has some weird ass lyrics on Bandit

Why does NBA Youngboy say some crazy shit on this song? Like he has A 4.5 inch in his pants. His girl (shorty) has a penis (glizzy on her). And he's a daughter with no semen on him. Did he say anything else that was suspicious on this track that I didn't notice?

I think he also said "poppin willies" and "I let you drive inside my bros". Both of those lines make me think that he's as straight as a circle.

LOCKS OF THE DAY NBA DFS 3/29

another solid night for me. this 2 game slate turned out to be pretty good, wanted absolutely nothing to do with some of this chalk value and that worked out perfectly as most of them were huge busts. Got a huge slate for tomorrow and this first game sadly looks like the nuts lmfao.

We spend so much time looking at stats during the draft cycle. But I wanna know what everyone’s eye test and gut feeling about who will be good in the nba this draft

No player has averaged 30+PPG on 60%+FG% in NBA history. Giannis needs to average 25 PPG on 49%FG in the Bucks 9 remaining games to be the first to do it.

No player has averaged 30+PPG on 60%+FG% in NBA history. Giannis needs to average 25 PPG on 49%FG in the Bucks 9 remaining games to be the first to do it.

Assuming he plays in all 9 remaining games and averages 19 FGA, he needs

24.8 PPG, 48.2% FG

to become the first player ever to average 30 PPG / 60%FG in a season.

He's currently @ 30.7PPG, 61.6%FG.

If he plays fewer games, for example 8 which is more possible, he needs 24.1PPG on 46.9%FG.

If he plays 7 games he needs 23.3 PPG on 45.1%FG.

The FG% requirement assumes he averages 19FGA.

He's also 4 blocks behind the player who's 20th in total blocks this year. If he catches up, it'd be the 2nd time in NBA history with a player top 20 in total...

Points (he's 3rd)

Rebounds (he's 5th)

Assists (he's 16th)

Steals (he's 18th)

Blocks (he's 26th)

The only time this has happened since 1973, when NBA started recording steals / blocks is by Giannis in 2017.

Relevant part:

2 Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks

Last week’s ranking: T-3

Season stats: 33.1 ppg, 9.1 rpg, 9.8 apg

His case: There’s still work to do, but the wins are finally starting to match the 25-year-old’s otherworldly production. Throughout Dallas’ 9-1 run, Doncic has posted 29.8 ppg, 9.8 rpg, 10 apg and 1.7 spg.

Of course, the team’s only loss over that span came March 14 at Oklahoma City in a game Doncic missed due to a sore left hamstring. After the clash at Sacramento on Friday, the Mavs head to Houston on Sunday to face the red-hot Rockets.

Obviously the main criteria is that the franchise hasn’t won a championship in its history, and with that in mind I think the Clippers might be the most obvious contender. I like the Jazz, Kings and Suns a lot too, though. Timberwolves would’ve been a solid contender if they weren’t so young and if there wasn’t already a series about another Minnesota franchise, in the Vikings.

Dejounte Murray is just the second player in NBA history to miss at least a dozen 2-pointers and a dozen 3-pointers in the same game. He joins Kobe Bryant, who did so on April 13, 2016. It was the final game of Bryant's storied 20-season career.
