Enable or disable automatic error reporting for GCPW

You can help improve Google Credential Provider for Windows (GCPW) by sending automatic error and crash reports to Google. Automatic reporting is turned off by default.

To turn on automatic reporting:

  1. Open a command prompt with full administrator permissions in Microsoft Windows.
  2. Change directory:  cd C:\Program Files\Google\Credential Provider
  3. View the directory, then locate the subdirectory named after the version number. It will look similar to this: 74.0.3432.34
  4. Enter one of the following commands:
    • To disable reporting:  gcp_setup.exe /disable-stats
    • To enable reporting:  gcp_setup.exe /enable-stats
