Random chinese gamers are about to make me bankrupt

Stort version: I released my first mobile game on the Play Store and got like 70 normal downloads. But suddenly a lot of people from china are starting to play the game (like 200 per day and growing) without any downloads or connection to Google Play. This means if they reach a critical amount of players I need to pay Unity for the cloud service, but I can't generate any money since they can't load ads or pay something ingame.
What do I do? If it continues to grow at this rate I could owe unity a lot of money very quickly...

(Regarding many comments: Its not about the unity gameengine but the complementary services like Unity events, unity cloud save and unity authentication)

Does getting "Not Recommended" from Steam Curators affect visibility at launch?

We're a tiny indie team of just three people, and our platformer game that we hope to release sometime this year got added to multiple "woke alert" curator lists for including pronouns among the many listed details (height, age, likes/dislikes, etc) in the character encyclopedia for NPCs. At least two of them gave it a "not recommended" for this.

Does anyone know if this has any negative effect on visibility once we release? That would be a huge bummer, especially since we worked really hard to get around 8000 wishlists. Would be a huge relief to know it doesn't.

How often do you come back to code you wrote and are surprised by it?
r/ExperiencedDevs

For experienced developers. This community should be specialized subreddit facilitating discussion amongst individuals who have gained some ground in the software engineering world. Any posts or comments that are made by inexperienced individuals (outside of the weekly Ask thread) should be reported. Anything not specifically related to development or career advice that is _specific_ to Experienced Developers belongs elsewhere. Try /r/work, /r/AskHR, /r/careerguidance, or /r/OfficePolitics.

How often do you come back to code you wrote and are surprised by it?

This may be a odd question but this recently happened to me. I came up on some code that I thought was pretty clever and I had trouble understanding it. It was a unique solution and I thought who did this? Turns out it was me a year ago. Only I didn't remember it and had trouble understanding it. How does that even happen?

Anybody ever have this?
