Olympia Valance opens up over IVF journey after miscarriage

Australian actress Olympia Valance has opened up about her struggles with fertility, including a heartbreaking loss and resolve for a new journey.
The Neighbours star took to Instagram to share a video detailing her fertility battle, sharing the devastating news that she had miscarried twins two years ago.
"Thomas and I miscarried twins, right in the middle of COVID, which as you can imagine was excruciatingly painful," she shared in the clip, mentioning her husband, AFL star Tom Bellchambers.

"Since then we haven't been able to conceive. That would be two years of really trying," the 30-year-old reflected.
"For any woman or couple trying to get pregnant, there is no worse pain than every month looking down at that negative pregnancy test. Your heart breaks in two."
She added that while she was reluctant to look at IVF as an option, she's willing to do whatever it takes to have children, sharing that she is starting her IVF journey.

"Adding more hormones to my raging cycle scares the s--t out of me," she said, sharing that she has begun seeing a fertility specialist to start her IVF journey.
"I want babies and I will do everything in my power to get them. So here we go. I'm going down the IVF path and I'm going to take you with me," she said.
She also had a message for others struggling with fertility: "Anyone who is struggling – God, I see you, I feel you. I know that pain more than you will ever, ever know."
