Hello. Just a post to share my regrets.
So end of 2023, I leased a 2023 bmw 530i because I wanted a bmw, but the new 2024 530i looked really ugly. I was looking at Tesla 3 and y at the time but eventually decided on the 530i.
I regret it. Every time I see a Tesla on the road I feel like it looks so much cuter and cleaner.
I regret is so much I am actually in the process of finding someone to take over the lease for my bmw. Just saying! Please don’t be mad at me!

I don't own a Tesla(yet).. but an hour ago, I was sitting in the double left-turn lanes and I was the only non-Tesla... the other 17 cars were all Teslas(3 and Y). Is this a sign that I should get a Tesla soon? :)
Or do you Tesla folks have get-togethers and I just happened to be in the middle of one? :) Very odd.. because my town doesn't even have a Supercharging station yet. The nearest Tesla service center is a little over 100 miles away.
I’m the only one who is having issues with Tesla’s headlights? They are so bright and powerful not sure if they are running on high beams. Why so? Please educate me.

Of course this is just based on my personal experience which is a minuscule sample of all roads. Plus there are fewer Teslas on the road compared to all other brands.
That all being said, I live in one of THE worst cities when it comes to driving according to Forbes. I’ve never seen someone in a Tesla going 100+mph on the highway, weaving in and out of traffic.
Altimas, Mustangs, Chargers, Beamers, Audis, Benz, pick ups, motorcycles and any thing else you can easily find going 30+mph faster than the average flow of traffic. Going across 3 lanes without signaling. Backing up on the highway because they missed their exit. Flooring it from a red light. All things you see after spending 5 mins on the dangerous roads here.
I see a good amount of Model Ys and probably more Xs than 3s and Ss.
I can’t say I’ve seen any of those drivers abusing their power.
Again… a tiny sample size. I’m sure they are out there but I just personally find it surprising.

For those of you moving on to another electric vehicle for whatever reason, what are you looking at? I rode in a Mercedes sedan recently (Uber) that was soooo comfortable and looked amazing. The driver said he really missed the Tesla charging network, it was actually a pain point, but his new ride slightly edged out the Tesla and he didn’t plan to go back.
I’m not familiar with the price point of Mercedes E vehicles and it’s embarrassing what I paid for my Y compared to what they go for now. But I’d be going for a little softer ride to handle awful Texas city streets. (Extreme weather fluctuations don’t foster nice roads).

I mean they are monumentally bad drivers... hazardous on both the highway and surface streets.
This seems to be a Bay Area thing because I spend quite a bit of time for work in LA and SAC and the Teslas there drive no worse than anyone else.
I feel like Tesla drivers are going to overtake Prius drivers as the worst on the road around here.
