Adina Porter in AHS Double Feature

I am super bummed she was the first main character to be killed off! I hope we can at least get a little more of her in like a flashback or something within the final 2 episodes! I always find her to be really underrated in the AHS universe.

I don't see what is it that people dislike about Adina Porter?

I like her acting and the character progression in both Roanoke (particularly in the second half) and Cult. I actually found her last few scenes in Roanoke quite moving, and she was brilliant in 11/9 and Drink The Kool Aid.

But I don't get why people say she's a rubbish actor...

I can understand if people are thinking of her voice, when referring to her acting, as she does have quite a stale nasal-like tone as if she always has a cold (that's not a complaint, it's just the best way I can think of to describe it).

Red Tide did Adina Porter dirty

Among the cast who didn't get enough quality screen time, this season really did Adina Porter dirty.

After recently rewatching Roanoke and Cult (and Apocalypse) - it's hard to remember that she wasn't a mainstay cast member until S6 (before that, just a small role in S1).

Say what you will about those seasons, but she was incredible in Roanoke and Cult. She was also enjoyable in Apocalypse (but just didn't show off her acting as much).

I'm sad that she got so little screen time in Red Tide and was little more than a throw away character. She deserves better and hope to see her featured again in AHSs future.

Adina Porter Sounds Like Rudolph

Why does this bother me so much?

I've been re-watching AHS again...currently on "Cult". It's crazy how much she sounds like Rudolph from the old claymation movie...but only like Rudolph in the scene where his parents make him wear the fake nose.

Adina Porter deserves a lead role next season. Yes or No ?

She was a commanding supporting role this season but not yet up there with Sara Paulson and Evan Peters. This season really showed her off and she was absolutely amazing in every scene she was in. I think she’s good enough to lead the next season or at least co lead the next season.

What do you guys think ?

I dreamt I met Adina Porter in a restaurant and lost my cool. lol

I don't know who else would understand XD

I dreamt that I was in the same city as her for some reason. She was there promoting Paper Girls, and then we wound up at the same restaurant and she stopped by my table and I fangirled out. Now the thing is, I don't know her really well at all (I recognize her from True Blood and AHS) but watching her in this role was the first time I was like..god she is sooo cool af. So in the dream, I was just as giddy for her as I feel I would be irl. I told her I'm a big fan and she was flattered but then, uh oh, she asked me a question that she expected I would know the answer to as 'such a big fan' and I didn't know the answer! Then she was like 'oh, so you think you're a fan of mine, huh?' It was awful and so random. Woke up so relieved that I hadn't actually humiliated myself in front of her and lowkey offended her. 😅
