What is up with so many Reddit comments using this weird language (Google Translate says it's Telugu, but it's actually gibberish) copypasta, and replies acting like normal?

I've first seen this while searching for something here on reddit. I came accross a comment that said this, but all of the replies to it were reacting as if the original comment said something different. I searched this in google, and all of the results went back to reddit posts. When searching for this in here, multiple posts show such comments. Though Google Translate identified it as Telugu, I couldn't translate it, and ChatGPT said that this was gibberish.
Is this some weird bug? Or maybe a weird trend that would make people edit their past comments with this weird text?
