Taking Part 

​Welcome to the 4th World Congress of Psychogeography. Since 2020, 4WCoP has mainly taken place online and so will most of this year’s Congress.
Note that parts of the Congress take place on other platforms (like Facebook, Zoom and Vimeo) and some may require you to register there and/or download software, especially if you have an older device.
​By joining the Congress, you consent to your public participation in proceedings, but you can control how public or how confidential you are to some extent.

About Us

​The 4th World Congress of Psychogeography takes place annually, usually during the first weekend of September. Until 2019, it took place in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, UK; in 2020 it happened online for the first time, because of the Covid-19 ‘lockdown’ restrictions, and drew a wide international audience. We are running the 4WCoP online again in 2023.  The organising group are all volunteers, and are a mix of creative minds, academics and shameless amateurs. We have no budget and are reliant on your generous donations. The University of Huddersfield is a valued partner, and in the past has provided venue, technical support and insurance. This year, when we are meeting online, we haven’t needed these things, but we look forward to working with the university again in future.
