Whizz 4+

Recently downloaded this app after a recommendation from a friend. Haven’t used online services before so was a little dubious however Whizz I found easy to navigate and efficient in response. I have a 3 bedroom house and bathrooms which I needed thoroughly cleaned and while I was at work was able to pass on instruction to what was required. I came home to a sparkling floor, spotless kitchen and pristine bathroom. Very satisfied with the work would recommend!

I’d used whizz a few times and the cleaners had been hit and miss. I decided to use them for an end of lease clean, thinking they wouldn’t mess it up, what a mistake! Not only did they not clean the apartment properly, tops of door frames not cleaned, windows still dirty, piles of dust left under stairs and anywhere less obvious but obvious when you look. Carpets not cleaned properly or at all. When I then complained they said they’d come and fix it but it was too late I’d already had to fix it as it was the end of lease and had to give the keys back. The battle then with their customer service team was ridiculous. Even with photos and video of what they not done they wouldn’t budge. It took approx 2 weeks and Thea threatening to take to fair work to get a partial refund.

I was looking to set up a regular clean. First clean was ok, 2 cleaners went for 90 minutes. However at end of clean I went through checklist and had to get the cleaners to do finish items from the standard clean. Tried them again with same cleaners but this time they were 45min late and only sent one cleaner for 90 minutes. Toilets bowls weren’t cleaned, kitchen cupboards weren’t done, corners weren’t vacuumed. No way could you expect to do a proper clean of a 4 bedroom house in 90 minutes. I emailed whizz that day and said to cancel all recurring cleans. They didn’t cancel and subsequently charged me for a future clean. I pay for cleaners to do a proper job so I don’t have to and don’t want to have to go through a list to make sure what I am told would be done in a standard clean is not done.
