Friday, May 3 - Thursday, May 9, 2024

After achieving immense fame as a choreographer for the stage and screen, Bob Fosse embarked on a filmmaking career that was every bit as successful. In celebration of Fosse’s uniquely cynical but wildly entertaining body of work, this program includes 35mm screenings of STAR 80 and his Academy Award-winning masterpiece CABARET, plus 45th anniversary showings of Fosse’s sublimely self-indulgent crypto-biopic ALL THAT JAZZ.

CABARET & STAR 80 on 35mm

First time doing Broadway roulette! I don’t want to cross off anything I’m unlikely to win. I have one cross off left and I’m trying to decide between Bob Fosse and the Book of Mormon. I also don’t know if Aladdin is worth the cross off. Please help if you can, you guys have never let me down!

Watch-Along Guide: Bob Fosse

It's Showtime! In what is certainly MY most anticipated miniseries of all time (robbed in the very first March Madness vote EVER), we are digging deep into the world of Bob Fosse for the month of July. We'll get razzled, we'll get dazzled, and, most importantly, we'll get a look at man's capacity for harming those around him. Spoiler alert: you might want to get a BroadwayHD subscription for the month.

Sweet Charity: Streaming on BroadwayHD streaming service (also available as an Amazon Channel). NOT available for Purchase and Rental elsewhere. Strongly recommend the Kino Lorber Blu Ray set!

Cabaret: Streaming on Paramount+. Purchase and rental in the usual places. Widely available on DVD/Blu Ray (WarnerArchive).

Liza With A Z: Streaming on BroadwayHD streaming service (also available as an Amazon Channel). Streaming free with ads on PlutoTV, TubiTV, and the Roku Channel. Purchase and rental in the usual places. There's an out of print Showtime DVD release you can find pretty easily on secondary markets.

Lenny: Streaming free on library-based Kanopy and Hoopla streaming services. Streaming free with ads on TubiTV and PlutoTV. Purchase and rental in the usual places. There's a DVD you can get, the only Blu release is an out of print Twilight Time limited edition which goes for around $100 on ebay.

All That Jazz: Streaming on TubiTV (with ads). Available on physical media from Criterion. Check your library!

Star 80: Available for purchase and rental in the usual places. Only available on WarnerArchive DVD.

A couple of the less legally available movies are also on popular internet video sites if you search them correctly ahem ahem.
