Dang this is like inviting someone over for dinner and suddenly expecting them to pay for the groceries AND whatever electric/water they run up while visiting. Then humiliating them publicly for not being up to those new financial expectations.

This sounds so unprofessional & just not like how a good friend would set you up to bring you on their tour.

The lip color is cute in a 2016 Fall drinks with the girls out on the town way. But not in a 2025 Summer wedding “I am the bride” way.

Needs lighter/brighter color & creamier texture with some good lip liner.

You know what they say, Florida is a sunny place for shady people.

I can’t say much but this was in NYC & the person doesn’t have an online presence anymore.

They weren’t a bad person or malicious but just very ethically questionable, privately disturbed & overall unstable. Made everyone on the team cry multiple times & multiple other contracted hires quit mid project. When what they were selling was confidence & sensibility in style + business.

I trust Hollywood’s blatant smoke & mirrors WAY MORE than any online singular “expert” in anything. Because they always try to lie and hide the smoke & mirrors, attributing it all to just how great/successful/knowledgeable/etc they are. Their tips may be helpful but the behind the scenes just a total mess. And there is nothing to hold them accountable so it’s really whatever they can get away with to make the most money in the fastest time.

They aren’t even accountable to their customers or “students” seeing real results. IMO, 80% it’s just snake oil they’re selling you & no guarantee or refunds on the other end.

Working as an assistant to a pretty successful coach & seeing what an absolute fraud they were on many levels. And that the whole team behind the scenes explicitly knew the classes & teachings being sold were the opposite of the coach’s reality. Just a glorified influencer with good self marketing.

Yeah! It’s also a few minutes from SoHo (South Howard) and Ybor which are the spots to go bar hoping or to clubs. UT is central to downtown Tampa & I’m sure she’s going to have the best time.

I grew up in Tampa. The campus of University of Tampa used to be a luxury resort, is GORGEOUS, right on the river and actually walkable (in a city that isn’t walking friendly) to some of the new night life built on the other side of the river. And the tuition is pricey.

I toured the campus but the only way you attend UT is either being really smart or really rich & I was not enough of either of those things lol it’s a little party paradise honestly.

Exactly! Like fascism is VERY different than even the horrific things Diddy, Weinstein or the like have done. And the way people throw those truly historic atrocities around, it dulls people to what fascism actually looks like. Especially in 2024 USA, we need to highlight the harmful reality of fascism, not belittle it.

Agreed with the writers overall point but this part left a sour taste in my mouth. Equating “celebrity assistant” with “nazi prison guard” is wild. One was a genocidal regime & the other is a possibly twisted/likely entitled famous person.

Like she says she wants creeps to leave her son alone, but she just invited so much more attention to them actually.

And that poor boy will still be left with another nanny or someone not his mother, because a single mom can’t be there 24/7 & I can only imagine the boy likely has attachment/safety issues from all of this. I know I would even as an adult!

Yeah I had the same thought! Flower bud is not heavy so to add it up to that many pounds is insane to me.

I’ve worked in a dispensary & don’t think even our inventory would add up to that much. 100 lbs = 45359.2 grams!

Plus it sounds like Justin tried to remind her & everyone what the focus should be. She just chose not to care.

This is so beautiful & I’m happy for your family’s growth in love! It was the Palestinian friends I’d made in high school that showed me so much empathy & respect despite my ignorance at the time. And Birthright was honestly nothing but propaganda in hindsight & it worked very well. 10 days of free partying, doing activities in beautiful nature with the promise of a cushy package if we wanted to come back to make Aaliyah. SO MANY people I grew up with moved to join the lone soldier program.

But when I realized how much I care about social justice in my own home country, I couldn’t rock with the cognizant dissonance required to not acknowledge how warped the Israeli government is. I couldn’t stomach the idea of one day having kids just for them to become conscripted soldiers at 18. And the celebration of planes full of new citizens ready to live in more West Bank settlements was mind blowing to me. I still have love for many people from my past but the more outspoken I became, the more of a pariah I became. I’m sure you know the feeling.

Like you and your family though, me & mine also would rather live openly with our eclectic world of neighbors than closed off in an unjust group perpetuating oppression we’re supposed to be against. Never Again should be for all people. ❤️

Ps. If you haven’t already, you might like viewing the “Israelism” documentary. Was in the works for 7 years but happened to be released last fall. It very much felt like my experience.
