Punks And Rockers was founded by Aldo Erdic who began chronicling the Toronto punk scene in 1997 with a videozine series called F*U*TV. Continuing to film local and touring bands into the 2000’s, in 2010 Aldo directed “cira 1977: The Diodes”, a documentary short about one of Toronto’s first punk bands, which premiered at the 2010 NxNE Film Festival. Aldo also contributed footage to “The Last Pogo Jumps Again”, a feature length documentary about the 1977-80 Toronto punk scene. In the 2010’s, Punks And Rockers filmed many of the live studio sessions at CIUT 89.5 FM radio.
