Marion Bogni's pissed. "He's an intravenous drug-using, lying, manipulating, thieving, axe murderer," she says.

She speaks, of course, of Scott White, 30, who pleaded guilty in June to the axe murder of her brother, former KIRO talk host Mike Webb. Her anger comes not only at the horrendous act itself but from the prosecutor's recommendation of just 12 years in prison for White.
She and brother Wayne Webb will confront White in court Friday when he's sentenced, and plead with the judge to mete out a stronger punishment.
White's Attorney Julie Lawry will ask for less, of course. Shes says she'll ask Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Ramsdell to give White 8 1/2 years because of White's mental condition described as schizoaffective disorder. She may ask
the judge for an "exceptional downward sentence," allowing a lower than normal sentence. She told a reporter that he's remorseful about the murder.
There is no insanity plea here, but Lawry feels whe could have gotten one if the case went to trial. So did prosecutors, apparently.
Bogni filled in more detail about the vicious murder and Mike Webb's last days.
She says adamantly, "Mike never used a needle, did not smoke crack, did not do heroin,...the toxocology report did not contain heroin, crack, no street drugs. There was a trace of ethanol, which is a natural by-product of cells decomposing."
White staged the murder scene, to make it look like Webb was using. "He remade the bed he murdered Mike in, scattered his personal affects on top of the bed, and placed a single syringe next to Mikes bed."
After the murder White texted Bogni on Webb's phone telling her that "Mike was ashamed of his drug use." There were "cans and cans and cans" of dirty needles White and his friends left in the house. "You will not find any of Mike's DNA on any of them." she told BlatherWatch.
The motive for the killing was simply money for drugs. "He killed Mike in part for the debit card and assumed he would have Mike's house indefinitely." After the murder, White drove Mike's car, used his debit card, pawned Webb's computers and other belongings, while, she says, "...shooting drugs in Mike's house with his junkie friends."
During these months, (between April and June 2007) White sent texting and emails from Mike's phone and computer to a suspicious Marian Bogni in Concord, Calif. White was buying time while he liquidated Webb's belongings to stick in his arm. "[He said} Mike was on vacation, looking for work, he thought he would cover his bases for quite a while." At one point, he told Bogni that Mike was letting him live in his house while Mike was visiting her in California." Bogni knew from the language he used that he was lying.
Finally, she sent Mike a text-message saying if she didn't hear his voice within 24 hours, she was calling the police. Then, she says, "White vacated my brother's home."
She doesn't believe that White was living with Mike at the time of the murder, despite White's confession that he was.
"I completely believe Mike never knew White came into his house that night, "she says. Mike Webb's autopsy shows no defensive wounds... if he were conscious, a victim would typically have thrown up his arms to fend off the blows. "All of the wounds were parallel. Mike never moved, because Mike never saw it coming."
That's comfort, but cold comfort to the family.
"Seattle police really fucked this up," Wayne Webb told us last month.
When he was arrested, White was charged with first-degree murder, but the charge was reduced when mental health experts doubted White's ability to premeditate the crime or participate in his own defense.
Scott White is a homeless meth, crack, and heroin addict who's been diagnosed with a schizophrenic disorder as well. We can only imagine what kind of slumgullion is his psycho-neurology.
The definition of the schizoaffective disorder includes this: "The untreated individual may quickly change their minds about their romantic partners, friends or family if they hear something negative being said about them; as a result they may attack or, conversely, back away from the person or group until they regain normal thoughts, which usually takes treatment and time."
Many of Mike Webb's friends and family will be in courtroom Friday to see justice done to Scott White. Care to come? It will happen at 2:45p in Judge Ramsdell's court, W813 at the King County Courthouse.
