Poorly Spelled Anti-Muslim Graffiti in Calgary

A couple of days ago, we read an article concerning especially nasty graffiti found spray painted on the walls of a Calgary LRT station and nearby cars:

CBC News Posted: Dec 03, 2015 7:11 PM MT
Last Updated: Dec 03, 2015 8:44 PM MT

Calgary Transit responded to some disturbing graffiti at the Tuscany LRT Station Thursday night.

Bhaveek Makan posted three images to Twitter Thursday evening showing spray painted comments disparaging to Syrian refugees and Muslims.
....
Several motorists had their cars spray painted, including Tuscany resident Brian Durocher.
....
Calgary police say they are investigating the incidents and have obtained video surveillance images from Calgary transit of possible suspects.

So far there hasn't been too much said about the incident on most of the sites we monitor, though Jonathan Kotyk did post a message on Stormfront in which he  (a) any racist worth his salt would be able to spell and (b) insisted it was likely the work of "non-whites" or anti-racists:

The Aftermath of a Tragedy

One would have to be living under a rock to not have heard about the horrific attacks in Paris that occurred on November 13. A total (as of this date) of 130 dead and 368 injured in what must be described as an act of cowardice by people subscribing to a twisted and evil ideology. A day before a car bombing in Beirut, Lebanon killed 43 people and prior to that 18 people attending a wedding were killed in Baghdad, Iraq. On November 17, 37 people were killed in Nigeria in a bombing that experts suspect was the handiwork of Boko Haram (who have pledged intelligence to Daesh). Just yesterday we learned that at least 21 people were killed in Mali. And today in Cameroon at least 5 people have been killed in a suicide bombing.

Those killed and injured run the gambit of ethnic, national, and religious origins and include Muslims among their numbers. Looking at the names and countries of origins for those victims of the Paris attack indicates a number of Muslims were killed and injured by extremists. In fact, the religious group most adversely affected by Daesh and their affiliates are Muslims, which is why so many refugees are fleeing Daesh in Syria.

The Canadian government is still admirably committed to taking in 25,000 Syrian refugees by the end of the calendar year. This writer hopes that is just the beginning of Canada's commitment to help refugees. But, despite the good will of the Canadian government (thus far) and most Canadians, there have been a backlash against both the idea of helping refugees as well as Muslim-Canadians.

Much of the backlash comes from places that are not at all unexpected. For example when a mosque was set on fire in Peterborough, Ontario, Kyle McKee and the folks at Stormfront were pleased as punch:

Fromm and McKee: Interesting Fallout From "National Post" Article

We had expected that the Stewart Bell article which focused on a young, autistic, Jewish man who had embraced white supremacy would result in radio silence from most of the usual suspects mainly because Paulie was portrayed in a particularly negative light. We did expect there might be a few who would comment; Tommy Winnicki here and on VNN for example:

FYI, Tommy isn't very original. He appears to routinely save messages, repeatedly posting the exact same ones in the desperate hope that we will publish at least one of them.

One might suggest he find a more productive hobby, but then there are those who would say that's a matter of the pot calling the kettle black.

I digress.

We did find a single thread on Stormfront that commented on the revelation that Paulie appears to be using an autistic gentleman to smuggle hate literature and for money, and the source was not at all expected:

I suppose it isn't a surprise that McKee decided focus on this article. At first it seems he is is critical of Max Hynes' Southern Ontario Skinheads out of London, an understandable position given the two groups.... such as they are.... hate each other (and McKee has already gone out of his way to criticize Hynes and the SOS on Stormfront). The tenor of the posts initially seemed be progressing in that direction:

But then we see that the criticism isn't so much directed at the SOS (though to be sure that perspective exists) but towards Paulie himself:

July 2015 Bits and Bites: Canada Day Edition

Well, belated Canada Day. Or perhaps Canada Day +1.

We understand that some of our readers have a complicated relationship with Canada Day considering the treatment of First Nations people over the centuries and Canada's past retrogressive immigration policies that excluded people on the basis of ethnicity from coming to Canada. But do you know who shouldn't have any ambiguity about Canada Day?

Boneheads.

Our bonehead friends more often than not refer to themselves as the much more innocuous sounding "White Nationalist," the emphasis being on the "white" part of course, but the "nationalism" portion is no less important to their identity. One of the criticisms of immigrants, First Nations peoples, and non-white Canadians (many of who's ancestors immigration histories predate those of the boneheads by decades) is that these group don't love the country like they do. The "White Nationalists" complain that the immigrants, First Nations, and non-white Canadians didn't do anything to build the country and are just here as "takers" with no fundamental loyalty to Canada:

Putting aside the fact that "RIP Canada 1867 to 1965" likely hasn't picked glacial stones out of a field or cleared brush in his entire life and is assuming the credit due his betters, this is a fairly typical missive. So, we can expect that "White Nationalists" in their zeal to show just how better they are than the unwashed hordes battering down the gates at proving how much they love this country:

Or not.

Canadian Bonehead Response to Charleston Church Murders

When the "National Post" published the article focusing on Paulie's involvement with the Council of Conservative Citizens (CoCC), the hate group that inspired the murder of 9 men and women at Mother Emanel, his friend and fellow CoCC supporter Jared Taylor noted that the story wasn't so bad:

This led to one of the more "out there" exchanges on Facebook that we've experienced in a while:

While it is pretty funny to witness just how disconnected with reality that boneheads can be, the murders in Charleston really did bring out the worst in a lot of those who we cover here on the blog.

Your Ward News Being Investigated

When you publish articles on a blog such as this and cover the content that we do, you walk a fine line. You try to expose violent racist and make the public aware of the potential dangers of organized racist groups. You have a little fun pointing out how ridiculous the individuals are who exist in this subculture, and we've been pretty good at ridicule. However, you try not to give them more publicity than they warrant since many of them thrive on the attention.

If truth be told, we've often failed to be as conscientious as we probably should have been and knowing our tendency, we'll likely continue to fall short.

That being noted, we had been following "Your Ward News" out of Toronto ever since Michelle Erstikaitis began her involvement with the publication. Prior to Erstikaitis, "Your Ward News" seems to have been primarily a vehicle for attacking Toronto City Council members as well as being a big supporter of Rob Ford. It was, and still is, distributed freely to homes in the Beaches area of Toronto and claims a circulation of 50,000.

Things started to change somewhat with the arrival of Erstikaitis who continues to write for the publication despite her current involuntary stay in one of Canada's finer federal women's institutions. During the last municipal election, Erstikaitis and "Your Ward News" endorsed the following candidates in both Toronto and Mississauga:
  1. Paul Fromm. Not a surprise as she has a weird relationship going back with him a number of years now that even boneheads don't seem to get.
  2. Christopher Brosky. Convicted murderer who spent close to two decades in a Texas prison and who was later deported to Canada. Erstikaitis once suggested she and Brosky had dated.
  3. James Sears

The last name was one were not familiar with, though it seems that "Dimitri the Lover" was a fringe personality of minor notoriety in Toronto.

Yeah, creepy. And if you believe this guy, he actually had at least one "student" though we can't imagine "Pavel" was any more successful than "Dimitri" would have been.

Since the municipal election, Sears has decided to go full fascist and antisemitic. He's created an unregistered political party (the New Constitution Party) which consists mainly of himself and perhaps a few of other misanthropes.

Montreal Pegida March Didn't Go So Well.

When Pegida began to organize in Montreal, we began to keep an eye on what was happening. Unfortunately Quebec remains a bit of a problem area for us in that we have no active ARC members in the province and all the members we do have are hopelessly unilingual.

We did notice though that Pegida announced that it was going to hold a March in Montreal on March 28. The usual suspects on Stormfront were giddy with excitement in the lead up to the event:

Ron Banerjee, our favorite little misogynistic, homophobic, Islamophobic, organization of one chimed in to state that he.... er.... we mean Canadian Hindu Advocacy would also be in attendance in the most charming way a lonely shut-in knows how:

Well Ron, that's a bit of a problematic claim considering there wasn't a march:

March 2015 Bits and Bites: Warman, Dr. Dawg, Zundel, and Daniel Gallant

We've learned that Richard Warman has won another one. David Icke has paid Warman $90,000 to settle a rather long running libel action:

DAVID ICKE SETTLES LIBEL ACTION
5 March 2015

British conspiracy writer David Icke and co-defendants have paid Canadian human rights lawyer Richard Warman $210,000 CDN (117,000 GBP) in damages and legal costs to settle a libel action against them.

In 1999-2000, Warman had worked with various Jewish and anti-racism groups to notify public venues in Canada of discriminatory elements within Icke’s mishmash of conspiracy theories. After being provided with material from Icke’s own writings, a number of these venues withdrew permission for Icke to use their facilities in his tours.

In retaliation, Icke included false allegations in his 2001 book Children of the Matrix that Warman was seeking to suppress Icke’s purported exposure of Satanic child abuse and murder.

David Icke made an out-of-court settlement on January 8th paying $90,000 CDN (50,000 GBP) on the eve of a long-delayed trial that was scheduled to begin in Toronto on February 2nd, 2015. The Court order formally discontinuing the claim was issued on 4 March 2015 thus paving the way for this announcement. Insurers for three Canadian bookstores that had refused to stop selling the book after being served with libel notices had previously settled out for $120,000 CDN (67,000 GBP). Information obtained from litigation by Icke against his former US business partner demonstrated that at least 55,000 copies of Children of the Matrix had been sold worldwide.

The settlement includes the requirement that Icke immediately cease any further distribution of Children of the Matrix and remove the defamatory material from any future editions. Warman thanked his lawyers Christine Lonsdale and Elder Marques of law firm McCarthy Tétrault – “They were absolute professionals and I couldn’t have done it without them.”...

The Sad Saga of Vikingwarlord14: Part III

We had anticipated our articles (here and here) detailing the online misadventures of misanthropic shut-in Jonathan "vikingwarrior14" Kotyk could result in a bit of discussion back on Stormfront. That response, occurring a day after the second of the two articles, really was a joy to read.

"Canadianationalist" does make a good point about not feeding us low-hanging fruit. Thankfully, Kotyk proceeds to ignore that good advice:

Name calling? Hmmmm.......
Think we hit a nerve? We think we may have hit a nerve. But he wasn't quite finished:

Now, you see, it's stuff like this that begs to be made fun of.

Accused in Home Invasion and Attempted Murder of WWII Veteran Not What Boneheads Expected

Yesterday our newest friend Jonathan Kotyk posted the following on Stormfront:

Thankfully, the victim Ernest Côté is still tough as nails and was able to free himself from his bonds once the suspect had left; Mr. Côté was otherwise unharmed physically. Not surprisingly though, the folks on Stormfront jumped to what they thought to be an obvious conclusion:

Yep, has to be a person of color.

Meet Ian Bush, currently in custody and suspected of the home invasion and attempted murder of Ernest Côté. It should be noted that Bush is currently accused but has not been convicted, thus any time we will refer to him in relation to the crime that took place we will be certain to use the word "alleged" liberally.

Ian Bush is the president of Bush and Associates Consulting, though given how shitty the company's website is (and considering how shitty ours looks, we kind of think we write from a position of some authority on this matter) we aren't sure we would be very confident in Mr. Bush and co. Then again, the company is registered through on a federal government website, so there is that. We guess.

We also found that Mr. Bush led a fairly active life online through Twitter:

We spent some time reading through his tweets of the last month, and found some that are rather ironic considering Mr. Bush's alleged conduct:

Real soldiers.... like Ernest Côté

The alleged home invasion occurred on December
18, the day before this particular tweet.
We didn't go through every single tweet, but we did look at a month's worth of messages. If the boneheads had hoped that Mr. Bush was a leftist commie hippy, we think these messages might put a bit of a damper on that hope:

The Sad Saga of Vikingwarlord14: Part II

We always enjoy when our fans send us feedback:

Oh you sweet talker you!

It looks like "Unit14"/"Jay Stone"/"Jay Smith"/"proudcracker420" might not have appreciated the article in which he was mentioned. We understand. In the article we dismissed him as an irrelevant carnival sideshow not worthy of anyone's time and attention.... and then proceeded to write about a loan misanthrope with delusions of grandeur living in Winnipeg who if we are to be honest isn't worth anyone's time or attention either.

That sort of cognitive dissonance  might scramble the brains of the average bonehead.

So on that note we will continue our profile of Jonathan Kotyk, a man who's name shines as brightly as such "White Nationalist" luminaries as Kevin Goudreau and Tomasz Winnicki:

You don't say, eh Jonathan? ;)
We once again introduce our readers to Jonathan "vikingwarrior14" Kotyk on Stormfront. Kotyk often attempts to present himself as a "White Nationalist" man of action, philosopher, and intellectual:

Well then! We're sure someone who advocates for the adoption of a benign dictatorship governed by a philosopher king must have some brilliant ideas on how to govern a nation-state, particularly when he suggests that he himself already has most of the solutions to Canada's "problems" (it seems to us that he might like to be considered a future candidate for the philosopher king role he advocates).

Okay Jonathan! We await your wisdom with baited breath!

The Sad Saga of Vikingwarlord14: Part I

It's been a while since ARC introduced a new character to the parade of misfits featured here on the blog, so while this writer was on a brief sabbatical she decided to do a little research on someone who's online activities reminded us a little of Tom Winnicki (who, given his most recent missive, isn't pleased to have his intelligence ridiculed; more on that at a later date):

Meet "Unit14." Well, actually "Unit14" is ostensibly the name of the "crew" this guy has established in BC, though at this point it appears that his is a crew of one. However, he was pretty damn ambitious in that he tried to crowdsource his new hate groups:

Bill Noble actually asked a legitimate question about this endeavor which, if we remember correctly, wasn't really addressed:

Not surprisingly, the fine folks at GoFundMe weren't so peachy keen to have their site used as a means of raising money for a neo-Nazi gang and it was shut down before it raised a dime. But even before "Unit14"/"Jay Stone"/"Jay Smith" had decided to crowdsource a hate group, he had first attempted to start another ambitious, though ultimately futile, project under the username, "proudcracker420":

A while back someone representing the UNP tried to leave a message on the blog announcing the formation of a new political party that would eventually be fielding candidates for federal office and, as such, forming the next government. We get delusional comments like these all the time and while we don't post them on the blog we do follow their efforts for shits and giggle. This case was no exception, though the UNP proved to be especially entertaining:

Except, of course, when the UNP project was abandoned
and the Unit14 project was begun. These people have the
attention spans of goldfish suffering from ADHD

Ah! Here we have "vikingwarlord14," the main subject of this post finally. Now, with a name as grand as "vikingwarlord14" we expect he must be a rather imposing figure:

Yeah, something like that.

Anyways, "vikingwarlord14" was a very enthusiastic early supporter of the UNP as evidenced by many of his comments on the subject:
