Dara "Nazi Mom" Graham and Thomas Trenerry Active In Yellow Vest Movement

You know, it has been a while since ARC has written about the "Nazi Mom" (aka: "Aryanprincess1488") who lost her kids after she and her then husband attended an Aryan Guard rally back in 2008. For years ARC referred to Dara Graham as "Nazi Mom" but as she seems to have advertised that it was she who lost her children, well, who am I to deny her the notoriety?




Well, she's back and she's dating former Aryan Guard member and also unreformed neo-Nazi Thomas Trenerry:

It would appear that Mr. Trenerry and Ms. Graham, formerly members of and associated with the Aryan Guard respectively, have found a new movement to welcome them:


I know. Shocking that virulent racists who have been affiliated with one of the more violent neo-Nazi movements in Canada of the past 20 years (assaults, attempted murders, murders, arson, etc) would be attracted to the reactionary Canadian Yellow Vest movement:


On Saturday, both Graham and Trenerry attended the Yellow Vest protest in Trenerry's home town of Lethbridge. It went about how one would expect:


Trenerry has associated himself with the III% militia and has made incendiary comments advocating the assassination of the prime minister on the III% Alberta page:



Trenerry iss also Facebook friends with Tyson Hunt of the formerly named Soldiers of Odin, now re-branded as the Wolves of Odin, who has participated in reactionary Yellow Vest events in Edmonton:


Interestingly, neither Graham not Trenerry are even the first former Aryan Guard members who have joined the reactionary Yellow Vest movement as evidenced by John Marleau's involvement.

Yeah.... what's that about the Yellow Vesters not being extremists?

Yellow Vest Extremists: Two Case Studies From Edmonton and Calgary

I've been offline -- at least on the blog -- for over a week now in part due to finishing up some work-related projects (the work I'm actually paid to do), prepping for the holidays, and a long, long, LONG, drive back to the mother province to visit my family; ma has been dutifully fattening me up with cookies and nanaimo bars while pa has been providing home brewed beer at trying to engage me in discussing an activity known as "sports." Still, I have been keeping abreast of at least some of the activities the far right have been engaging in.

Last Saturday another series of Yellow Vest protests occurred. Fewer cities and towns appeared to have participated and the numbers were down in all cases while a number of venues saw an increase in the number of counter-protesters. Online the infighting and factionalism has been growing as participants sling insults at each other almost as much as they do towards the Liberal government in Ottawa and Notley government in Edmonton. Also, while there had been some effort to minimize the number of violent threats on the main Yellow Jacket Facebook pages, those efforts appear to have collapsed. 

It was inevitable that this new movement would attract mainly the same faces (Steven Myatt, Ron Banerjee, Georges Massaad, Faith Goldy, Georges Hallak, etc) and groups (Soldiers of Odin, Northern Guard, Storm Alliance, La Meute, Canadian Combat Coalition, III%ers etc) I've been seeing at these protests the past number of years in addition to some newer, though still familiar, movement such as those who are associated with the QAnon conspiracy theory(s). Two of the faces associated with the Yellow Vests will be familiar to readers and include one more recent addition as well as someone who frequented the days of ARC Classic.While the initial momentum in much the rest of Canada appears to be waning as the attention span of the supporters diminishes and the weather turns colder, Alberta is still quite active. 

In Edmonton the Yellow Vest protesters were outmaneuvered by the counter-protesters who showed up in larger numbers equaling or even perhaps slightly surpassing the Yellow Vest reactionaries, last week, the previous weekend saw a large number of far-right extremists show up including members of the Wolves of Odin. Now ARC readers will be familiar with this group as it used to be the Edmonton chapter of the Soldiers of Odin before they were compelled to change their name by the mother hate-group in Finland due to negative media attention. Prior to the name change the SoO were the focus of a story involving members of the hate-group hobnobbing with members of the United Conservative Party. Among those who attended the UCP event as well as the Yellow Vests protest on December 15 (where a journalist was roughed up, btw) was this fella:

Mohamad Fakih and Paramount Fine Foods v. Ron Banerjee: A Play In Five Acts


This probably doesn't bode well for Kevin "the Poodle" Johnston, the other party in the law suit. He hasn't been especially active online of late, though the selling of a comic book collection suggests he's strapped for cash. There was also a recent question posed on his own Twitter account (but seemingly not by himself) concerning a significant health issue.

Time will tell.

In the meantime I would like to congratulate Mr. Fakih and thank him for his very generous donation to the Canadian Anti-Hate Network.

Money Money Money: Faith Goldy Tries to Pay Legal Bill and Tyler Malenfant of Yellow Vests Canada Promotes Vague Fund Raiser

When ARC learned that, in addition to the $50,000 legal bill owed to her lawyer, Faith Goldy would also be hit with an additional $43,000 in court costs to Bell Canada I knew that she would face this challenge with grace and dignity.... if by grace and dignity I really meant crying, gnashing teeth, and begging:


Those last two tweets will become relevant soon enough.

If one had gone to her Go Fund Me page, one would notice that every single person who contributed was a male because despite her recent marriage they STILL are desperate to get her into bed which is really pathetic.

Still, she does have her female supporters, one of whom post the following onto Tyler Malenfant's Yellow Vests Canada Facebook page:


The subsequent discussion which includes former III% member and former leader Beau Welling, Freebird Media personality and ethno-nationalist Alexander Van Hamme, and Georges Hallak quickly turned into a farce (more so) when someone successfully trolled the lot of them:

Coincidentally, Goldy wasn't the only person involved in this past Saturday's reactionary Yellow Vests protest in Toronto to grift fund raise:



Tyler Melenfant, a man who has a history of posting racist, Islamophobic, and antisemitic rhetoric, is trying to raise $4000 for the following:


And despite most of these people knowing of Malenfant for at best a week and in some cases claiming to be unemployed and hard up for money, there are those who seem willing to pony up:



The reason why Cruise feels Melanfant is trustworthy is.... well.... you sort of have to see it to believe it (even though you won't be at all surprised):


Having his photo taken in front of Trump Tower is enough to make Cruise trust that Malenfant is on the level.

If that's the case, I should even be more trustworthy since when I was recently in New York, I had my picture taken in front of Trump Tower not once, not twice, but thrice! Sure, two of those pictures involved me impotently giving the building the middle finger which did nothing other than temporarily make me feel better since buildings are non-living, unconscious, structures devoid of any emotions.... but yeah! I sure showed THAT assemblage of steel and masonry what's what!

Hard Times: Faith Goldy, Lauren Southern, and Gavin McInnes

While the reactionary Yellow Vest protests in Canada were mostly failure outside Alberta, I wasn't surprised when I learned that Faith Goldy showed up to the poorly-attended event in Toronto. There Goldy, newly married and being accompanied by a small group of desperate young men who are not her husband but who still think they have a chance if only they debase themselves even further, were outnumbered by antifascists in Nathan Phillips Square.


However while Goldy continued to humiliate herself in public for fun and profit, a bit of a hammer was about to come down:


I would think that would hurt at least a bit. 

Goldy isn't alone in facing potentially damaging financial constraints. A number of "alt-right" and "alt-right adjacent" figures have been losing access to their lucrative crowd sourcing venues. Sites such as Patreon and Go Fund Me have been kicking these figures off their pages resulting in usual cries of "censorship" from folks who understand that this isn't censorship but also understand their own mouth breather supporters don't know that:


There are also those whose living beyond their means appears to have caught up with them and are now heavily in debt and are desperately looking for their next grift:

Milo Yiannopoulos for example is currently at least $2,000,000 in debt and his efforts to crowd source his way out of it hit a bit of a snag. Yiannopoulos was once one of the brightest stars on the "alt-right" scene until that "appearing to being okay with having sex with children" thing emerged. Further deplatforming has resulted in some rather bleak times for Milo. 

Yiannopoulos had been booked to tour Australia and had hoped to turn around his fortunes, but it fell through as a result (and resulting in) a war of words between himself and the tour organizers. Emails of their exchanges have been released which indicate that Milo isn't ideologically driven as much as he is financially. 

A character that ARC readers are familiar with also has a role in the Passion of the Yiannopoulos:

Lately Lauren Southern has been spending the last few months demonizing a refugee advocate using a heavily edited video resulting in threats to rape and murder said refugee advocate, getting herself banned from the UK, and facing financial difficulties due to a cancelled speaking event in New Zealand (notice the theme here). Previously Southern and Yiannopoulos appeared to be on good terms and had appeared with each other a number of times:




However some professional jealousy seems to have tainted their relationship over the past year as evidenced in the released emails:

Now of all the Canadian far-right personalities who have had a difficult few months, I think that this fella is probably at or near the top of the list:





Where to start with Gavin McInnes?

Well I could start with the unprovoked attack by members of the Proud Boys against antifascist (and it was unprovoked) resulting in numerous criminal charges. Then there was the report that the FBI considered the Proud Boys to be an extremist organization with ties to white nationalists which was among the reasons why McInnes quit the group he had founded; turns out the FBI designation might actually not have been accurate. Because of the bad press the Proud Boys and many of the group's members were kicked off of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. McInnes lost out on an Australian speaking tour when he was denied a visa after failing a character test. He has also personally been banned on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and for a time YouTube after numerous copyright complaints though he appears to be back on that particular platform:


McInnes has also lost his job after being fired by Blaze TV after the takeover of CRTV:


Most pathetic, he complains about his neighbors not being nice to him, you know, because he is an awful human being and all that goes with that.

Being reviled and deplatformed, there weren't many other places for McInnes to turn so it looks like he has decided to set aside any remaining dignity and self-respect and turn to Alex Jones:



If you slow down the video, you can pinpoint the spot where he's thinking to himself, "so, this is my life now."

Far-right Canadian Yellow Vest Reactionaries - Promoters of Violence and Conspiracy Theories, Already At Each Others' Throats

As they did last week when they unoriginally co-opted the French Yellow Vest protests (Mouvement des gilets jaunes), the far-right reactionaries organized another Saturday of protests in a number of Canadian cities. In most cases the numbers were down significantly from the previous Saturday (and even then outside Ottawa, Calgary, and Edmonton they weren't much to speak of). However Calgary and Edmonton still appear to have numbered in the 100s.... though even this is a bit of conjecture since many law enforcement officers were also wearing yellow safety vests:


At least some of the co-ordination for these protests is occurring on Yellow Vests Canada. 


Currently there are roughly 65,000 members of the group, though I suspect that most of those who were added, like those in the past who had been added to the WCAI group, aren't really aware of what the group is about since members could add others fairly indiscriminately. Also, before making it a closed group, there were quite a few people taking the "true believers" to task:


Tyler Malenfant is the founder and administrator of this and a few other Yellow Vest Facebook groups. It might be of interest then to ARC readers to note that Malenfant is someone who has appeared on the blog back in December 2015 in relation to his apparent connection to Students For Western Civilization, something that a number of readers noticed even before I did:


Malenfant eventually responded and his explanation for his racist and antisemitic posts is absolutely hilarious:



Malenfant claims the screen shots of his posts are fake, which suggests he expects people to believe that ARC posted fake screen shots in December 2015 knowing that in November 2018 massive protests would occur in France resulting in Canadian far-right supporters co-opting the imagery of said protests in December 2018 and that Malenfant would become an organizer in this astroturf movement... all in an effort to discredit him.

Sure or, and stay with me on this, might a simpler explanation be that Malenfant posted racist and antisemetic comments three years ago and now he's desperate to try and explain them away even though one can still see many of these posts online?

My Observations Concerning Saturday's Anti-UN Migrant Compact Protests

As I watched protests in a number of Canadian cities which were ostensibly about opposing the UN's non-binding agreement setting up guidelines for the orderly and safe movement of people as a violation of Canadian sovereignty but which were in fact anti-immigrant (read: non-white) and Islamophobic in nature, I couldn't help but make a few observations.

First, the choice to wear yellow vests to mimic the French protests (the vast majority of whom are not racist trash and who have endeavoured to remove that element from their midst) indicates a distinct lack of originality on the far-right in this country. I mean, are they not capable of any sort of creativity? They copy the name Pegida even though the acronym makes no sense in the Canadian context. They form groups such as the Soldiers of Odin which originated in Europe and the III%ers based on an American model which itself is mostly myth. It's all rather disappointing.

Second, despite some media coverage of the events, the numbers of those who participated in the events haven't really grown that much and still consist mainly of the same people I've seen year after year.

Take Ottawa for example.

This was supposed to be the marque event and was to have featured Maxime Bernier who ultimately no-showed. Some have suggested this was due to not wanting to associate with the extremists (some 14 or 15 groups in total) who organized the Ottawa event, however one speech suggests that he might be comfortable with these bigots after all:


He has certainly not been shy about appearing with individuals belonging to.... shall we say questionable groups such as the Proud Boys?


Or having supporters of white nationalists work in his new political party:


Had he shown up to the Ottawa event, he might have felt quite comfortable with organizers such as Le Meute and the Storm Alliance as well as participants including the Northern Guard, Soldiers of Odin, III% militia, Canadian Combat Coalition, Donald Trump supporters, Christian Heritage Party supporters, and QAnon conspiracy theorists among others:


Still, despite being the largest of the protests with more than a dozen groups participating in the organization of the event, they may have attracted a little over 200 people. The anti-fascists countered with roughly 100. The same could be said of most of the protests that occurred across the country and though they claim they will be holding more events including this Saturday, I'm not sure if they will improve on these already low numbers given the weather growing colder and the upcoming holidays.
